Sara's latest experiment

“CARA, I want to work on my latest project.”

"Yes CARA, please initiate the test."

Robot arms begin turning on a series of complex machines. They direct you to a cylindrical glass tube. The tube is etched with faint lines all over it that appear to be electrical circuitry. The top is capped with a mass of wires leading to a wall of rack mount computers. The tube splits in half and the arms guide you in.

• Final testing initiating.*

  The computers come alive and the hum begins to drown out your thoughts.

  The etched glass cylinder closes around you and you feel an electrical tingle crawling on the surface of your skin.

  "CARA let me out!"

  "CARA!"

  The crackle of electricity fills your ears and the smell of ozone fills the cylinder.

  You lose all sensation. It doesn't go dark, you no longer have sight. There is no sound, and no feeling. It's as if you are dreaming and all that exists is your mind.

  Sensations slowly return and you find yourself in a different room, as the glass cylinder opens to let you out.

  "CARA, what just happened," you ask, and your voice sounds different.

  The test was successful, through there was a DNA anomaly at the beginning.

  "What do you mean anomaly?"

  Your DNA did not match that which you programmed in. To avoid the "fly effect" your preprogrammed DNA was used.

  "But I'm not Sara"

  You are 100% Sara, and now the voice anomaly appears to have corrected itself.

  Proceed to the table for physical examination

  You try to bolt for the stairs, but the arms grab you and place you on the examining table. your feet are placed in stirrups and straps are placed around your body.

  "Let me out of here"

  Once the exam is complete you may leave. The straps are for your own safety

  There is a mirror above you so you can see everything that is happening. The first thing you see is your sister Sara staring back at you wearing the same clothes you put on before.
