Margery to the rescue

Joffrey felt horrible about what he had done he explained everything to margery who after hearing all this smiles at Joffrey and said “you are kind to worry but I doubt that Sansa hates you Joffrey.” Joffrey was taken aback by this why wouldn’t Sansa hate him for what he had just done. “How can you be so sure?”

“I think that Sansa is actually quite taken with you and when she found out you were betrothed to someone else she felt betrayed. I doubt there is much that you could do about this. I would recommend you give her some space.” Margery said putting a comforting hand on joffery’s back.

“Are sure she has been through a lot because of me I don’t want to let her go through all this alone.” Margery seemed to become more pleased the more Joffrey spoke of Sansa which surprised him because he thought she would be upset about him talking of Sansa when they were alone.

“You are truly a great king you know.” Margery said looking Joffrey directly in the eyes. Joffrey was once again smitten by her beauty and while he still was worried about Sansa he wanted to be with Margery she made him feel better about himself in ways he couldn’t quite comprehend.

Margery inches closer to Joffrey and said. “ these summers can be quite hot I think you should relax take off your tunic believe me when I say you don’t want to sweat in fine silk.”
