Shoot Elena and go on the run

You fire. It was the only logical choice after all. A confrontation with a clandestine organisation which you know nothing about with the power to take over people's lives seemingly seamlessly. There was no guarantee that the person wearing Elena's form wouldn't've just killed you or had you replaced if you had handed over your only weapon.

It turns out she had been bluffing. Elena crumples into a heap like any other person but when you sift through the skin and clothes, there's only one skin to be found. She had been telling the truth. The person underneath is just trapped in Elena's skin until you restore her. There doesn't seem to be any method available to you to forcibly remove someone from their skin.

What you do find is what is best described as a Parker pen box. It is a nondescript black box which looks like it wouldn't be amiss in a stationery store which holds 5 pens. The first two you recognise as the black and brown pens that Elena provided to you earlier that day. There's also a red, blue and white pen in the box as well whose function is unknown to you.

The adrenaline is pumping through your body. You have just made a big step in shooting the only person that might have spared you. Your only choice now to go on the run. You look up and see Jessica's lifeless skin in the boot of Elena's car.
