Who's downstairs?
A different Aunt Jessica
Max rounded the corner at the bottom of the stairs, which had him looking right into the dining room. His aunt Jessica was sitting at the table, reading a magazine and sipping on a mug of coffee. As she brushed aside her shoulder length hair which was reddish brown with dyed blonde streaks, Max noticed that she was also wearing a lot of makeup.
Woah, it's the same as with Lacy, I don't remember Aunt Jessica wearing that much makeup ever, especially after the divorce. Also, there is something different about her, but I can't quite remember what....
As Max was trying to align his memories, Jessica set down her magazine, revealing a huge set of breasts that she definitely didn't have in the other reality. Max's eyes went wide as he tried to process why his aunt now had porn star grade boobs. Memories flashed in his mind of Jessica using some of the large payout she got from the divorce to get breast implants and her confidence improving greatly. There was also something else, a reason for her attitude change....
"Good morning Max, are you awake yet?" Jessica was standing at the table and waving her hand as if to wake him out of his daydream.
"Oh, uh, yeah... I just didn't sleep well I guess." Max blurted out, unable to think of anything else to say.
"Well, you have some time off now, you should probably use it to get some good rest" Jessica responded, grabbing her empty mug and returning it to the kitchen.

Max couldn't help but notice how much more confident his Aunt was now compared to when she was first divorced. The tight blue jeans and midriff baring, low cut top were really not her style in the past. Something big, besides the new breasts, must have happened to make her this way. Max's old memories of Jessica were of a lonely and depressed woman.
Hey, if Aunt Jessica can turn her life around, maybe I can too. Maybe this strange machine is just the thing to do it.
Max sat himself down at the table, looking around the new house. The living room and small patio were off at the far end of the house. Jessica's room was to the right of the living room and his sister Kaylee's and his Mom's rooms were to the left, split by the front entrance. Max was finally starting to get an idea of the living situation in this reality, the memories coming more easily.
So Lacy, Aunt Jessica, my sister Kaylee, my Mom and I all live here. My other cousins are all married and live in different cities. As for Kaylee's twin Hailey, she just got her own apartment downtown. Oh, and apparently Mom is upset with her because she doesn't know how Hailey can afford it. I don't know either, maybe I should ask Kaylee about it.
Jessica began to prep some food in the kitchen and Max took a seat at the kitchen island.
"Need some help?" He asked.
"You sure you're awake enough?" Jessica teased. Max just rolled his eyes and laughed.
Max chatted with his Aunt as they cut up some vegetables, hoping to trigger some more memories. He couldn't help but smile, seeing how happy she was compared to what he remembered.
What does Max remember?
The "what if" machine
A different point of view
After a heavy box is thrown through his bed room window, Max goes from pissed to extatic after he sees what it is .
