Paper round

John got up early the next morning. He had just gotten a paper round and it gave him an excuse to get out of the house while the sun was mostly down and before his family got up. He took a moment to look down at his pathetic nub in delight that he wasn't dreaming and got dressed. He got on his bike and rode down to the local news agent.

He got his papers from his boss and set off. He was now out in the town at 5am and he had an hour to do whatever he liked with his new tiny friend before the sun came up and then another 2 hours before school.
