Missandei

A picture of the pretty translator appears on the screen. Next to her, as with all the characters, are more data about her.

Missandei was captured shortly before Deanerys reached the city of Astapor. So they never met, I think to myself. She was kidnapped at the age of 18, it says further.

I don't have too much time before the auctioneer begins. "The starting bid is $300,000."

The first boards go up in the air and the price rises quickly. Instead of bidding like I just did all the time, however, I wait until there are only 2 people left.

"$940,000 going once, going twice, ..." says the auctioneer. I raise my board "$950,000." "$950,000 for number 17, is anyone going higher?"

I bid a little higher with the last one. "$1,130,000" I say and wait to see if the other bidder says anything else.

"$1,130,00 for number 17 at first, second and sold." The auctioneer hammers the desk with his gavel.

"Congratulations again" Reginald says and Sylvanas also congratulates me. I still have to get used to a nice Sylvanas, I think to myself as the next picture appears on the beamer.

The next 2 characters, Arya Stark and Margaery Tyrell are each sold for over $1.5 million. Arya had me itching a bit, but I spent over $1.25 million today, so I didn't want to go overboard.

Then the next image appears. "The next character up for bid is Cersei Lannister."

Reginald sits back down properly and looks through the crowd. "The starting bid is $500,000," the auctioneer says, and it starts again.

Quickly the bids go over $1 million and also quite quickly to $1.25 million. Last in the running are Reginald and another.

"1.350.000$ for number 24" the auctioneer gives back, but Reginald's opponent already gives the next bid.

"$1,500,000," Reginald says. I guess he really wants it. None of the others will go over that amount and Cersei is also auctioned off for $1.5 million.

"Congratulations" says Sylvanas and kisses Reginald deeply. "I think you'll have a lot of fun with her," he tells her as they break away, and I think I see a brief grin cross Sylvanas' mouth.

Neither of us bid on the last two characters. Sansa Stark was sold for $1.85 million and Deanerys Targaryen for as much as $2.1 million.

When Deanerys was sold, the auctioneer says something briefly. "Thank you for this wonderful auction. I hope you got the character you wanted. To all of you who were able to buy a character today, please come back to the reception hall for payment and conversation for mods. All others are of course welcome to stay longer and have a chat or a bite to eat. With that, I'll say goodbye for today, and have a great weekend."

With great applause, the auctioneer leaves the stage and the room is lit up a bit more. Also, the doors to the reception room open again.

"Let's pay the characters" Reginald says and stands up. I get up too and follow him. We walk with Sylvanas out into the reception room.

It has changed a bit again. A few tables have been set up in one corner and a few staff members are standing by. A few of the guests, who were also able to buy some characters, are already standing at these tables talking to the staff or paying their bills.

Reginald and I go to the tables together, while Sylvanas goes briefly for small banshee queens.

"Are you planning on getting any mods for your character?", I ask Reginald. "I was planning on increasing Cersei's breasts a bit by about a size" he returns. "Otherwise I wouldn't know what to do on her or Peach. How about you?"

"Missandei should be pretty easy to control, since she's used to being a ****. A good story should be enough there. I'm not a big fan of body mods, as they somewhat destroy the character for me if you do too much."

"I can understand, I only like minor enhancements too" Reginald replies.

We arrive at the tables and a staff member comes to us immediately. "Good afternoon gentlemen, I assume you were able to buy characters today?" When we both answer in the affirmative, she continues. "Then I need your auction numbers."

We give her our numbers and our purchased characters are displayed on the screen. "Have you decided yet if and which mods you want? If not here's a tablet and you can browse the store a bit."

Reginald, who is pretty sure what he wants, starts explaining everything to the employee. I grab the tablet and look up something to get.

First I pick out the collars and order 2 more for my new characters. Then I look at the mods.
