Mistaken Age

“Well, let’s see here are my documents,” Jane said as she pulled out a file. “Yes Alexa Eve Johnson, coming in for a bladder problem. Has frequent accidents both in the day and night. I’m sorry you’re having troubles, sweetheart. Well, luckily it’s not uncommon for girls your age to have problems. It can be a simple fix.”

Alexa nodded looking hopeful. “What do you have planned?”

“Well, you’re looking for a hasty recovery as you prepare for school, but I’m not sure you’ll have the time to be successful and stop by the time school starts. We can try to suppress it a little, but if you want to not be in diapers by the first day of school, that’s unlikely to happen. I’m sure no one will mind though. These things are expected at your age,” Jane said.

Alexa nodded. “What did you have in mind?” Alexa asked.

“There are a few things we can try,” Jane said. “The first option is hypnosis. It can have some side effects, but once you complete it, it can be freeing and may accomplish what you want. The second option is overcorrecting by only using your diapers for the bathroom to tell your body to stop. The third option is have supervision and training. You can have your mommy help you out.”

“My mommy?” Alexa said, confused. “What do you mean?”

“Basically she’d have to retrain you and it would have to be done meticulously. There would also like be a high chance of backwards progress,” Jane said.

“Backwards?” Alexa asked.

“Yes, but don’t worry. A girl at your age shouldn’t fear such things. There’s still room to relearn,” Jane said.

“My age? Wait, how old do you think I am?” Alexa asked.

“Your documents say you are 8, sweetie,” Jane said.

Alexa’s eyes widened. “What?! No no I’m not 8,” she said.

“Oh and how old are you?” Jane asked.

“I’m… I’m 22,” Alexa said. “I must have put the wrong number in.”

Jane looked curious. “You’re 22? Well, that does change things,” Jane said.

“How so?” Alexa asked.

“Well, if you are actually 22, then you’re the first of that age to come see me,” Jane said. “That doesn’t make it impossible, but I’m afraid our options are much more limited.”

“Wait… you don’t believe I’m 22?” Alexa asked.

“Based on what I saw in the bathroom, it’s hard to say,” Jane said. “I was willing to believe you were just a slightly taller 8 year old. Now, I suppose you don’t seem to be lying.”

“So what do you think I should do?” Alexa asked.

“Like I said, our options are limited. If we don’t get it right the first time, I’m afraid you might be stuck wetting yourself for quite sometime, and possibly forever,” Jane said. “Your only options are either hypnosis or you use your diaper for everything and then after one month, go through the process of retraining.”

“What’s the trick?” Alexa asked.

“Both would require some type of supervision to make sure things go smoothly,” Jane said. “I can contact someone I know to help you out with that. Now, let’s figure out which direction you would prefer. Hypnosis or retraining?”
