As August looked around, he didn't see any options. Fleeing away from the voices would result in a dead-end, and even more likely in **** completely. Even if these would've been just some local thugs, nobody liked when people snooped in their business, especially if that business was highly illegal. And so, the best thing he could come up with was pretending like Lana and himself belonged there. He cleared his throat to get Lana's attention, and gestured her to stand next to him. With a deep breath, the young agent didn't even get the chance to explain himself to his partner as a group of people had already wandered in.

It was clear that these weren't just some lowlife criminals as a group of guards walked inside, with a gorgeous Latin-American woman in front. She was definitely the boss of the whole things, and then he vaguely realized her. Everything added up - the ****, the interest of the DEA, and the presence of this woman who you suspected to be La Madrina, leader of the Cali Cartel...

"Who the fuck are you?" One of the burly guards spoke up with quite a deep voice, lifting his gun as La Madrina was waiting for an answer as well, raising one of her eyebrows. She looked really good, August would have to admit. Her long brown hair flowing from that cap, her shirt showing off plenty of cleavage and her pants hugging her curvy bottom in an equally perfect way.

Immediately, you fell into a role as you saluted the woman. "Josh and Emily, ma'am. Sir. We're new guards." He had already worked out his cover story - he was an ex-military man named Josh who got involved with the Cartel last year and was offered a job at the harbor. He hoped it would stick, but it was the best he could come up with. Lana nodded at the story to confirm it, seeming a bit more stressed out although she was trying to act like she was actually doing her job by guarding the containers rather than planting trackers on them.

"Nobody told me about new guards?" The man spoke up again, but La Madrina gestured him to shut up. "It's okay, things like this don't get decided by simple guards like you anyhow. You don't need to know shit." She bluntly told the guard, getting him to shut his mouth as she turned back towards August and Lana. Her eyes scanning over the new members of her team in the harbor, and then she simply gestured the pair to follow. Telling the other guards to take their posts as she had some stuff to discuss. Make sure there wouldn't be any misunderstandings, something that seemed to be custom with anyone who was new.
