Later that day, Princess Zelda got word that a commoner named Tawdry wanted to speak with her, so she told the messenger to deliver the woman to Zelda's personal study, and not to let them be interrupted by anything. She hadn't expected Link to succeed on his task so quickly, but then again he was the Hero of Light, regardless of what body he was in. Sure enough, within minutes of reaching her study herself, Link walked in, wearing the barmaid outfit she had left for him. "Link, I'm so glad to see you!" she said, running up and hugging the woman. "I can't believe you have a break in the case so early! Tell me, what did you learn?"

Instead of answering that question, Janus pulled the seashell out of her pocket and quickly tried to place it over her mouth.
