Does Dawn press her mother for answers?
Pressing further
Letting out a sigh, Dawn met her mother's gaze.
"Julia isn't my aunt, is she?" Dawn announced and caught a confused expression from her mother. Was what she was talking about somehow seen as strange and confusing on her end. Or was she concerned that some kind of secret had been found out? Heck, this could be a case of both.
"Of course, she's your aunt." Johanna answered and Dawn shot her a look. Clearly holding firm in that regard, it was honestly quite annoying. Couldn't she see that she deserved the truth? "Why would you think that she somehow wasn't?"
Dawn remained silent.
On one hand, perhaps she had been overthinking this. At the same time, what if she wasn't?
