The last female member of the Inquisitor's Inner Circle, Vivienne was an Orlesian-raised mage who rose to the position of First Enchanter at the Circle of Montsimmard before the entire Circle went rogue and she joined the Inquisition soon afterwards.

Vivienne is a staunch supporter of the Circle system enforced by the Chantry, but beyond that, Vivienne is a woman with a lot of ideas and a political agenda that she's not shy to admit it exists. As she sees it, both the Inquisition and herself both benefit from their mutual relationship.

However, much like it happened with Sera, Vivienne was both liked and hated in equal measure. Some appreciated her intelligence and reasoning, as well as being upfront about her own agenda while putting her political skills to the aid of the Inquisition. On the other hand, other players loathed her insufferable snobbishness and upper-class aura, disconnected from life outside of the privileged circles in which she moves, and resented the limited ability given to counter her arguments.

Regardless of how it was, Vivienne is a mage, which comes with its own baggage. She's a dark-skinned bald woman with a finely developed sense of style and fashion, deeply skilled in politics and court speak.
