Press 3 for Xu

Xu is an example of FFVIII's less known female characters. She is a high-rankin SeeD operative from Balamb Garden, the starting area of the game and is actually second-in-command to Headmaster Cid Kramer, before becoming Squall's (the protagonist) second-in-command. Due to her level of authority, other SeeD within Balamb hold her in very high esteem.

In terms of looks, she's a brown-haired slender woman of average height, with dark eyes.

In terms of appearance, she wears the black overseer vest of high-ranking SeeDs, along with a black tube skirt and black boots that reach just below the knee.

In terms of personality, not much is known from her due to her being a secondary character at most, but there are still some bits of it. She usually acts and composed, and tends to prefer keeping things professional, not unlike Squall. However, Xu is still a top operative in what amounts to an elite mercenary training facility. If the situation calls for it, Xu won't doubt to jump into action and deal with any perceived threat.
