Ikrie is a minor character from The Frozen Wilds, Horizon's first and only major expansion. Aloy first encounters Ikrie during a tryout to join the White Teeth, a Banuk werak. Ikrie is trying to dispatch several daemonic machines to reach Mailen, her best friend who is injured but rejects Ikrie's attempts of helping due to their Banuk upbringing, who value the survival of the fittest above all else. Aloy accepts Ikrie's request of help and the two manage to deal with the machines - but though Mailen allowed Aloy to tend to her injuries, she callously brushes off Ikrie's heartfelt concern.

It's at this moment Ikrie decides to refrain from joining the White Teeth, a Banuk werak and strike out on her own as a Snow-Ghost. However, you the customer will have the chance to let Ikrie regain her faith on a partner.

Ikrie is quite similar to Aloy; both are restless, headstrong and compassionate, and both put the good of others above tradition. Their biggest difference, however, is that Ikrie is emotionally attached to her friend Mailen, making her somewhat reliant on others, which makes it tough for her to face the conclusion of the White Teeth werak's tryout.
