Preparing for a showdown

The next morning, Raven woke up, shaken after a terrible vision haunted her dreams. And she could sense it -- that wasn't an ordinary dream she'd had. Something was very wrong. Some interdimensional being was wreaking havoc. It wasn't Trigon -- Raven knew that immediately -- but something was out there, and it was powerful enough to disrupt dimensional balance. With her fellow Titans either unable to breach the dome covering New York City or spread out ensuring peoples' safety, Raven established telepathic contact with Cassie, the only other teammate in Titans Tower at that moment.

*Cass.*

Cassie awoke from a blissful sleep, her arms around Gwen who smiled as she slept soundly.

*Raven? What's going on?*

*All kinds of things, that's what. I can sense fear, confusion, chaos... whatever you guys did last night, we've got metahumans of all kinds fighting all over the city."

A serious look of worry crossed Cassie's face. *Please tell me nobody innocent got hurt...*

*I'm not sensing anything that would indicate that. Most people have remained safe by staying indoors, and neither Kraven nor Cheetah have any interest in hunting the average person. But anyone who hasn't lost their mind is being pushed to their limit protecting those people, and it's only a matter of time before they break.*

*So it's not as bad as it could be... but it's getting there,* Cassie observed.

Raven agreed, *That's right. So we need to start moving, now... do you have any leads?*

Cassie remembered the server Selina had absconded with the day before. It seemed like a long shot, but something about the group's adventures day before led Cassie to believe that somehow, this was all connected.

*We're about to find out...*

After waking up Gwen, and then Laura, Felicia & Selina, the group met with Raven in the mainframe room, looking at the data they'd obtained. In what seemed like an unbelievable coincidence, they found data that indicated that Kraven had been tracking Sabretooth throughout the city.

"So Kraven's hunting Sabretooth," Gwen said. "And he's been using plenty of resources to track him..."

"That means Minerva's probably doing the same," Cassie surmised. "She's probably made Creed a priority, too."

"And they're both probably after him because he's been magically buffed out..." Felicia added. "Someone like that would be a hell of a trophy for their mantle."

"...And you said this Sabretooth wants to meet you guys tonight?" Raven asked Cassie. "Think his magic puppet master'll show up?"

"I don't know... but there's a chance we could draw our mystery magic user, Kraven, and Cheetah out if we play our cards right," Cassie answered.

"Which means it might be a good idea to find some magic users who can back us up," Gwen pointed out. "But from everything I've gathered, Strange has his hands full... although his apprentice Zatanna might be able to pinch hit for him. At least I hope she can..."

"Leave that to me," Raven said. "I know Zatanna... And dozens of other magic users. Someone should be able to help. Let me know where you're planning on meeting Sabretooth and I'll meet you there... if his puppeteer doesn't show up there, at the very least we might be able to find a trail to follow."
