Prehistoric Wilds

"So," You begin, "Prehistoric Wilds. I can only assume that means dinosaurs?"

Your guide nods enthusiastically, "That's precisely correct, and it's also one of the more dangerous environments in the facility, as one might imagine. Don't get me wrong, the residents there can be very amicable, but due to their nature some of them are also quite fierce. I never was any sort of dinosaur expert, and we have some species I never knew even existed. Well, you'll see soon enough, if you would follow me please."

He led you to an elevator, which to your surprise went down, entirely too far down. As you were already on the ground floor, you might expect a basement, but at this rate you half expected to come out in China eventually. That is until the walls became clear, allowing you to see outside, and what you saw was astounding. You got an exquisite overhead view of a large landscape, filled with lush trees and other fauna. It was like a serene forest, left untouched and unpolluted. It truly was a sight to behold, and you were left a bit saddened when the elevator finally reached the bottom.

Your guide places his palm on a scanner beside the elevator door, and the door opens. Motioning for you to follow him, your guide begins his explanation of the area. "As you can see, this portion of the facility is meant to simulate an environment more comfortable to the residents here. Of course, it can't be fully accurate as various species from wholly different time periods coexist here. If you'll follow me you'll see- HEY!"

Your guide twists out of the way as a small , scaled creature darts past him and up to you. Well, maybe she wasn't all that small, if she stood up strait she would probably be almost your own height. She remained in a sort of hunched-over pose, which made sense given the rest of her appearance. Her legs were very dinosaur-like in appearance, with wide hips and muscular torso. Her arms were on the short side, and her head... Well, honestly, she almost looked like a pure dinosaur actually, save that her face was a bit more human and her eyes gleamed with intelligence.

"Are you serious! A guest? Down here? Oh oh oh, pick me pick me!" She practically squealed with delight.

Your guide lifted his arm and waved a small device, "Blue, you know better. Stop harassing our guest and wait your turn, the others have priority."

The dinosaur, Blue, seemed to pale a little bit and back off. She muttered a quiet 'sorry' before walking off into the wilds, but not before glancing back at him once more with a look of sadness. Your guide turns to you, "I do apologize for that, Blue can be a bit rambunctious. She seems to have so much energy, not even the other residents are able to keep up. I can only hope she mellows out eventually. In any case... Oh here we are, the welcome party has arrived."
