Whoever put this trove of weapons and tools together, their collection spanned the whole world, and across the races. You spotted a falchion, a thin straight sword in the style of your home of Stoneheart, and the much feared Greataxe that few outside your fellow Orcs could easily wield. You had also found what you would imagine to be a ‘warpick’ a militarized dual function weapon of the Dwarves from the Hammerdeep Mountains. Though you wouldn’t be able to name the culture, you saw a number of bows typically associated elves of wooded regions. A decorative cutlass, an officer sword of the Linthalian Navy hung perplexingly next to a shield that likely belonged to a holy knight of the Sacred Reich of Vishy. It was, entirely, a perplexing mix, and with little rhyme or reason. It would make for a great museum collection, if not for the fact that all of this, like you, were trapped in this bizarre, doorless, windowless, room of stone and sand.

In a small corner of the room was a shelf with a collection of books, which called your attention. They seemed at first to be out of place, but it began to make sense to you. Whoever brought these items together clearly had a curious mind, an academic or artistic curiosity in the world, where a more mundane individual, someone simply looking to outfit a regiment or a mercenary company, would have been far more content with weapons of lesser quality from far closer to home, wherever that might be. These books were as much a part of that spirit of understanding as the rest of them. Among the spellbooks and historical texts, a particular book caught your attention. The Great Family: Devotions of the Six Sisters and their Children. A holy book, dedicated to the glory of the Goddesses who created the sentient races of the world, and much of the wonders within it.

Varissa, the First of Six Sisters, created the Elves, and the concept of learning. She had created them to be perfected to the environments they were placed in, in the utopian world before The Sundering of the Fey Crisis. Vrishka, Second of Six Sisters, created the Humans, the concept of trade, and the gift of Magic. Like her magic, she made the humans to be adaptable and flexible, in body and spirit. Quargh, Third of Six Sisters, created your kind, the Orcs, made to be resilient and able to withstand any environment in the world. She also created the Stone and the Earth of T’sara itself, and the concept of hospitality. Hjanda, Fourth of Six Sisters, created the Dwarves, made to live in the mountains and caves Quargh had created, and would later create and govern tools and the concept of family. Draenysis Fifth of Sixth Sisters, created the Halflings, and was also goddess of Roads and Luck. Though she had no business in creating them, she would later be seeing as the spiritual mother of groups like the Pathfinders. Phoenicia, Sixth of Sixth Sisters, possibly the most important of all, created Children, so that the works of her Sisters may continue and thrive after the jealous God Dinesh The Destroyer created death. She would also create the concept of mercy, forgiving all for their transgressions, even the Death God.

The book explored the legends of the Gods and the creation of T’sara, along with their messages and edicts to the mortals they created. It was all in an understanding to frame all sentient mortal life as being in a large metaphorical family. As all are Children of the Six Sisters, all are each others Brothers and Sisters, and should come together and live together as one. The races and cultures of the world certainly have not been living up to that ideal, and in many ways has been getting worse. The Third Age, the current time you live in, was predicated on the Triumvirate War, a global conflict that aligned Orcs and Goblins with the extra-dimensional Dreadlords against their local adversaries. Defeated, racial animus is at an all time high. The Intransican Empire, now the largest nation in the world and claiming to speak for all of Man, openly hunts your kind with the goal of extinction, fearing that no one is safe so long as any Orc draws breath.

Which is why the world needs this book to be out in public, not in this tiny claustrophobic space. Likewise, It needs you, a member of the Sisterhood of the Six Sisters to be out in the world too. Not just as an agent of peace in a world seemingly eager for war, but as one dedicated to bring the world back together after thousands of years of trying to tear itself apart. You and your Sisters are too few in number to affect the change as it is now, but there is always hope that good deeds can cause more, and like ripples in the water, grow to have larger and more profound impact.

You can’t do anything about that in here. You need to figure a way out of here, even if you don’t know how you got in, or even where “here” is. Looking about, you couldn’t find any obvious answers. Hoping an answer may come with a clearer mind, you turned again to the holy book. You opened it to a prepared page, kept with a red bookmark, of a prayer, which you read.

Sisters, who as many, made one world
From one land, many people’s
One family, of many faces
As each worked your own labors, you created a seamless whole.
Like a great arch, that whole cannot stand without all of its parts.

With Varissa’s blessing, may we learn to live our lives in your honor and memory, that all of us must share our future.
From Vrishka, may we exchange ideas, beliefs, and love, so that we may all benefit from one another.
Quargh bless us to stand on firm ground in defense of one another, and always accept one another with open arms and as gracious hosts.
May Hjanda serve to remind us that we are all of one family, born from one cause together.
Have Daenyris remind us that there is but one road, one path that connects us all.
Above all, let us be reminded that we are all Phoenicia’s children.

Six Sisters, we are your humble servants. We ask that you help and guide us as we work to bring about the world that you had once created, that all of your children may once again live in peace and harmony, as you had clearly always intended.

As you looked up from the book, you found yourself in familiar environments. You wouldn't call it a home as such, but it was where you were needed. Having been reborn after the horrors of the Triumvirate War destroyed the Sisterhood and any possible interest in its message, it had been decided that the Sisterhood was too sparse in numbers and resources for cohabitating in one place to be particularly effective. Travelling, spreading the message through actions as much as by words would be the means by which the goals of a more peaceful world could be reached, and at least, be able to rebuild the Holy Temple. As such, here you were, traveling with an adventuring party. Already working to solve problems of those in need, and often coming with high rewards, it was a great option for those willing to accept the risk. You, at least, were willing, though you couldn't speak for the others. The world was too perilous and fraught to sit idle. Affecting change required risk.

Dismissing the events in that strange room as the fevered imaginings of a bizarre dream, you brought yourself up to begin the day.
