Emily froze with her mouth open. Her pink delicate lips were parted as if to say something but not a single word came out. And it wasn't because she was surprised by Karla's strict tone. The young ruler was shocked by her own thoughts, that she considered humiliating Karla in a way that she wouldn't even dare to think about earlier. Undoubtedly, she would love seeing Karla's juicy breasts in their full glory but not in a way that would **** her mentor and friend. At this moment, Emily mentally forbade herself to ever use her power this way.

"It is not about you, my lady," Karla's brown eyes sparkled with genuine concern. "One of the reasons why women should be modest is to not make men uncomfortable. Don't spark desire in them, don't make them lust for what they can't have. It hurts them in ways that we can't truly understand."

Emily wanted to say that Karla how wrong she is in her last sentence. The young noblewoman knew far too well how it feels to desire a woman but stay silent about it.

You should get used that I am in charge now and you can't complain to my father when you think I misbehave," her tone was soft and friendly but surprisingly similar to her father's strict style "It is not like I plan walking around naked," she briefly touched one of her small firm breasts with her palm "Besides, I don't have much to show anyway. If I was as attractive as you claim, I wouldn't be unmarried at eighteen. No local noble was interested when my father took me to the count's feast before the war. No one even looked at me twice."

Karla sighed deeply, "This again? My lady, you are like an angel and went a long way since you were sixteen."

Baroness rolled her eyes, "Yes. I am cute like a kitten, men are known for marrying kittens who have tiny breasts and own tiny villages.
