Power Name: Game of Life

Due to swallowing one of ****'s own chess pieces when you were a baby (it's a loooong story) you have the ability to make game rules and wagers binding by imposing penalties for breaking them. This power scales with the severity of the wager and your own will, although there are limits to how much you can boost or negate your own power's penalties. This power can also be invoked without taking part in the game yourself, but 'judging' games for other people comes at a moderate loss in power for the game. What really makes your power dangerous is that it's always active, so the standard Hero-Villain encounters are literally impossible for you. Any attempted attack from either side just sets up a game for the two of you to settle your differences peacefully. Combined with the fact that you're compelled to offer your foe to withdraw before the game really starts, you just don't have the ability to really stop any crook that crosses your path without absurd levels of planning, and villainy just never really appealed to you. With powers unsuitable for becoming a standard superhero, and a lack of the right type of greed or ambition for a supervillain, you put your powers to use mainly as exotic security and moonlighting by setting up high-stakes gambling tournaments. Seeing as some of your patrons don't really take loss well, you tend to hide your identity as the Game Master.

Your costume is a fine three-piece suit with the four suits of cards printed on the shoulder pocket and dice cuff-links. Little known to other people, you've had kevlar sown into the fabric, just in case your ability fails at the worst possible time. To hide your face, you've invested in a Robin-style mask.

Your height and weight are average, but you tend to be more lean than broad.
