Power-Amulets

One of the cornerstone's of the Alzahnti society are power-amulets, or just amulets for short. By attaching the small enchanted stone to their collar, a **** can transform from an ordinary person into a god-like powerhouse.

Amulets come in a huge variety from the mass produced Gobknar stones to the custom made kaiju gems. Amulets have the ability to turn the weakest and most plain of people into a wide variety of beings capable of immense power.

A ****'s ability to use an amulet is greatly dependent upon their amulet resonance condition (ARC). ARC-levels are the most important consideration to take into account when Alzahnti lords and subjects purchase new chattels.
One of the curious attribute of amulets is that those beings with innate supernatural abilities or super-human enhancements either inborn or acquired will nearly always suffer from low ARC-levels. In contrast, ordinary human beings (homo sapien banal) tend to have the highest scores on ARC-level tests, enabling them to utilize a wide breadth of power sets with some of the greatest depth of raw power.
