Pour the Wine
As Cherie is midway through her meal preparation, You take a bottle of wine, open it and pour it into a glass. She watches the wine bottle float across the kitchen and pour itself. Her first instinct is one of surprise and fear, causing her heart to race. The sight of the wine moving on its own is unsettling, and she feels a chill run down her spine.

Setting the bottle down, you pick up the glass and hold it out to her. After a moment of her just standing there staring at it, you set it on the counter within easy reach. Cherie takes a deep breath and allows herself to relax. She can almost see her mind spinning as she begins to see you in a new light, realizing that your intentions might be genuine and that he is trying to create a moment of comfort and indulgence for her. Of course, your intentions really aren't genuine, but they're not dangerous. You want to seduce her, not scare or harm her.
"You know what? I'm beginning to think Alexis is right. You are trying to be friendly and helpful. It's just so unexpected and hard to believe. Can you assure me you you won't hurt my family?" she asks the empty air.
You respond by picking the glass back up and holding it out to her again. This time, she slowly reaches out, hesitates, and then takes the glass from your hand. You quickly pick up a second empty glass, and hold it up to her. Sensing you thought, she gives a shy smile and taps her glass to yours in a toast. "Okay, maybe I should give you a chance. But I'm gonna hold you to that."
