Post Date Night

The movie ended and Caleb took Rachel to her car back at the restaurant. The akward silence still lingered between them. Caleb finally spoke up as they walked up to Rachels car.

“We good?”

“Yeah... I’m just surprised that I did that." Rachel said, avoiding eye contact. "It’s not really something I would normally do... Or ever... in fact."

“It was rather unexpected... but I’ve got no complaints.” Caleb chuckled.

Rachel blushed. “I would hope not. I've never done that for a guy before.”

Rachel stopped just in front of her car and turned to Caleb. “You did pretty nicely yourself”.

Caleb opened his arms for a hug, and Rachel leaned into him, pressing her body firmly against his own as his arms wrapped around her. She felt his pants throb ever so slightly and pulled her head back from the hug to kiss him again. Their tongues met, doing a little dance tasting one another, until they mutually pulled away.

They said their goodbye’s and Rachel opened her car door and hopped in. She smiled at him as she drove off. She didn't know what had come over her, but she was pleased their relationship had reached a new level.

-Apartment-

Rachel walked in, exhausted. She tossed her keys down, pulled off her shoes and socks, and headed to the bathroom. She untied her pony tail and massaged and scratched her scalp. “Ohh that feels so much better,” she said to herself, flipping her long hair forward to let it dangle and self straighten, then flipping it back.

She stepped up to the mirror and unclasped her choker. She leaned her head to the right to look at the sores on the left side of her neck. They had healed some, but were still there. She put some antibacterial cream on, then pulled out her toothbrush.

Rachel paused.

She could still taste him... her tongue slid around her mouth, finding the source. She paused, and savored the flavor as her tongue found it, then lapped up the rest of it and swallowed it.

Rachel paused again, staring at herself in the mirror.

“What the hell is wrong with me?” She blurted out, and started brushing.

She was quickly reminded of the new sores in her mouth and finished carefully. She washed out her mouth with water from the faucet and spit, then leaned in closely to the mirror, pulling her upper lip back. There were two tiny hard white spots, surrounded by red inflammed flesh. They almost looked like new ulcers, but were symmetrical, both directly above and in-between the lateral inscisor and canine, on either side.

She stepped back from the mirror.

~Another flurry of images, the man pulling away from her neck. She looked to him, longing for more. She could see them clearly now, his fangs. They were covered in her blood, and were so sharp... He smiled at her. She longed for him to continue, but he had other plans. She laid back, sliding off her panties for him. Whatever he wanted, she would gladly give.~

Her vision faded.

“There’s no way...” she whispered to herself.

"God I need to get some sleep."

Rachel turned around and walked out of the bathroom flipping the lights off. She pulled off her red shirt and jeans, then unclasped her bra, throwing it on the floor too. She massaged her breasts, finally free of that cursed bra, before hopping in bed with just her crimson panties.

She looked around the room, a part of her half expecting someone to be there.

But there was no one there, she was alone, and her thoughts turned to Caleb. She closed her eyes and let the blissful sleep take her.
