Adam played it cool, trying to brush off the awkwardness of the situation. He gave Jake a nonchalant nod, as if being caught in a jockstrap was the most normal thing in the world. "Just, uh, forgot my clothes," he said, attempting to sound casual. Jake's eyes sparkled with amusement, and he raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying Adam's excuse.

Adam's face grew hotter as Jake took a step closer, his eyes scanning Adam's almost-naked body. Adam felt a surge of embarrassment and tried to cover himself with his hands.
