Play an old DOS game

You're a *hard* core gamer. You love retro gaming, and old school DOS adventure games have a special place in your heart. You decide that beer can wait, and launch an old game that you've never played before. Luckily it works in ScummVM. It's fun, with logical puzzles and good jokes that hold up. Eventually you get stuck, and after a while you decide to concede loss and look at the walk-through. You face-palm as you read that you're supposed to combine the magnet with the banana, and then combine that with a garden hose. These games!

You flip through the pages of text, not reading it but just to see how much you have left. At the end of the walk-through, there's a small section called cheat codes. You chuckle and remember how games used to have these. IDDQD, motherlode and so on. This section is small, though. All it says is xyzzy, but it doesn't say what it does.

You decide you don't need cheat codes, just walk-through, and finish the game not long after. Then you decide to head upstairs after all.

What's next?

More fun
