Plans are made

T'Lyria released Lex from his cocoon, and propped him up against the wall. He looked at the drider, quite confused and disoriented. "Go ahead. Finish me! What are you waiting for?" he said with a sudden start.

T'Lyria bent over him. "I'm sorry for the way I treated both of you at first. Mira has talked some good sense into me, and I've had a change of heart where you both are concerned. Please except my apology. You are free now. You are free to go, if you wish, or you are free to stay and help us."

"By us I take it you mean yourself and Mira?" asked Lex, looking around for Mira.

Mira walked up behind the drider, and came to stand at her side. "Yes, that's exactly what she means" Mira chimed in.

Lex took a good look at Mira to make sure she was herself, and not being controlled somehow. Then he saw her big, pregnant belly, and watched as the eggs moved around inside her. "You know, you're really sexy pregnant" he smiled. "Don't worry about me. I'll join you. Mira has a way of reaching others like no one else can. But at least tell me what this is all about first?"

Mira and T'Lyria went on to explain to Lex what had happened, and how T'Lyria became a drider in the first place.

"So if we kill this evil Drow Mistress, it'll break the curse, and you'll change back?" Lex was fascinated. "You can definitely count me in. I owe the Drow some payback from a few years back. What better way to do that than free someone they've cursed? I can tell you were quite beautiful when you were a Dark Elf. We'll find a way to make you one again."

T'Lyria was beside herself with happiness. Her new friends were amazing! "I can't thank either of you enough for helping me!" she began to cry tears of joy.

Mira gently wiped away her tears. "That's what real friends do. No thanks is really necessary. I'm grateful that we could become friends."

"A friend of Mira's is a friend of mine" Lex joined in. "It sure beats being someone's dinner!"

They shared a laugh, then set to work on their plans. It was decided that Mira would have four litters of driders, depending on the size of each litter. They figured from what T'Lyria had told them, they'd need at least an army of one hundred to two hundred driders. It all depended on Mira's fertility.

Once they had their army, they would head to the Underdark, and hunt for the evil Drow Mistress who had done this abominable thing to T'Lyria.

T'Lyria knew right where to take them, so there would be no wasted time. Their drider army would keep the household servants and guards quite occupied, so the three friends could hunt for the Mistress of the House of T'Sharam, and put an end to her, and her curse.
