Chapter 13
by Albedo
What's next?
Planning for contact with the enemy
That was disgusting. Laurence Joo sighed as he took off the sensor helm as the mental recording ended. Totally depraved. He shuddered at the memories, who could think those sorts of "entertainments" were enjoyable or attractive, what sort of warped psyche found the idea of, of, of being trapped as a ****-addled female **** on a primitive planet to their tastes... urgh.
"Not a pleasant experience?" Lieutenant Haversham, Joo's adjutant handed him a fresh towel to wipe his sweaty features.
"No, not pleasant at all. That was the last recording, I hope?" Joo asked as he composed himself and started to think like a Confederation Intelligence officer again rather than a tiny sex-crazed primitive bimbo addicted to enduring rough sex and giving blowjobs, the subject of the illegal holo-reality recording he had just suffered through. He was on board the Confederation observation station orbiting Acteon, a planet under UNESCO interdiction as a non-interference civilisation, if you could call the mad circus of ****, war and banditry the inhabitants constantly indulged in a "civilisation". No visitors were permitted officially, only Watchers and the occasional Interceder were permitted to go there to carry out their duties. No official visitors meant there was a constant stream of unofficial visitors, criminals, smugglers, wealthy thrill-seekers and the like as well as others who descended onto the planet by proxy, borrowing the bodies of the primitives by using supposedly-restricted mental exchange implants, "swappers".
Joo would have quite happily allowed the regular Confederation police to deal with the criminals if possible but Intel had been dragged into the mess after evidence spies from the Republic of Gomor were active on Acteon for some reason, subverting the natives and introducing forbidden technology. The Confederation and Gomor had been fighting an undercover proxy war for a long time before Intel finally got a breakthrough, uncovering a Confederation operative who was helping the criminals traffic bodies, goods and souls to Acteon with the involvement of known Gomorean agents.
Joo was devoutly religious, a believer in the Spirit of Man, a cult considered quaint in the modern world with tenets such as rigidly defined gender roles for males and females. Cult followers were often recruited into the Confederation Intelligence service since they had a strong moral sense and were regarded as incorruptible by the pleasures of the flesh or the lure of wealth thanks to their early mental indoctrination by their elders. Joo's defences had been severely strained by this particular operation's requirements to establish his bona fides but he sighed, he had stood firm bolstered by his beliefs and come through the trial. Now all the unpleasant preparations were over.
"That was the last recording, Commander. Our opponents now have good evidence that "Interceder" Joo is the sort of weak-minded degenerate that spends his off-time privately obsessing over Acteonese holo recordings, especially the perverted type where a man is tricked into occupying the body of a sex-besotted **** girl and suffers the consequences permanently." Haversham, Joo's adjutant was a fellow believer in the Spirit of Man and held similar opinions of those who visited Acteon to experience its corrupt social system as their personal dark playground.
"The holo playback logs should make me an obvious target for **** and manipulation. Once they think I'm helpless and theirs to order around we'll get an idea of what the Gomorans are up to on Acteon and put a stop to it." Gomor was a dystopian society in the eyes of the Spirit of Man cult with its citizens indulging in all sorts of obscene and perverted acts with no hesitation or doubt, according to reports and other investigations. For Joo this upcoming operation wasn't a job, it was a crusade.
"The drop shuttle will leave the station for the surface tomorrow. I will establish myself as a low-ranking knight under my own name just as planned and "intercede" with this Lord Blair character and then we'll see what happens. My neural link will keep you updated with what's going on around me. After that we'll make longer-term plans."
"Very well, Commander. I'll leave you to get some rest." Haversham saluted and left his superior's cramped quarters. Joo stood up to head for the shower, pushing the sensor helm aside and remembering, faintly, the hot sticky sweat the Acteonese girl's body had exuded as she bucked and moaned straddling the faceless man's lower body, the glow of pleasure she felt with her vagina filled to bursting point by the man's turgid protuberance, the sway of her heavy breasts pulling on her shoulders, the collar locked around her throat, her ****-enforced submissiveness... He shook his head. The Spirit of Man was with him, such memories were phantasms and mind-ghosts, not real for him, a man of the Spirit of Man and strong in his faith. He was sure that not even the strange Acteonese sex-**** could dissuade him from his inherent certainties about himself and the man who he was. Tomorrow then, and Acteon. He couldn't wait.
On Acteon, do things go well for the knight Laurence Joo?
Acteon
Master and .
Acteon is a pre industrial UNESCO protected world classified in the Confederation Dossiers as an M class planet, colonized by humans in the year 2304, nine hundred years ago. The colonists were Naturals, eschewing technology in favor of an agricultural civilization. The settlers deliberately eradicated all knowledge of the other worlds in their histories, and, not surprisingly, became isolated and regressed to a feudal society. The world was now roughly equivalent to the Dark Ages of Earth in its warlike nature and level of technology. The colonists were assumed in Confederation Intelligence to have perished very soon after their arrival, and the recent rediscovery of the planet and its inhabitants required careful handling. It was decided that no contact should be made, and that its civilization should not be interfered with. Watchers were placed on the planet, to record and study its people and guard against outside interference. It's easy to become a powerful figure on a planet with inferior knowledge and technology, and this was precisely what the Societal Conservation Board was set up to prevent. The cultures lowest social caste were girls. girls were selectively bred for specific physiological and psychological traits. The -wardens of Acteon also developed a that the female slaves ingested with their meals, which affected their pleasure centers and made them quite docile and submissive at the same time. Every person of noble birth owned at least one , and marriages to slaves were not unheard of, though such marriages in no way nullified the girls' status, and a husband would commonly offer his wife- for guest's use. Not to offer would be discourteous, to refuse, in turn, was an insult to the host. A free woman who invested the also became a . Visits by Confederation citizens are not normally allowed as they may undermine the unique archaic culture. Not that confederation citizens don’t visit. That’s where the exchangers come in. The device was undetectable and required that the target and the maintain physical contact for ten minutes, to allow for full mental data transfer. Some citizens pay exorbitant money to swap their minds into the body of a willing Knight or free woman for a short time to experience this archaic lifestyle. Some pay to swap into the body of a lowly girl... such swaps are generally permanent given few slaves want to return to their former life, although some are temporary. Others visit Acteon involuntarily... This is based on the following tale: http://www.fictionmania.tv/stories/scifi/slaves-acteon.txt Cover by Fotzenglotz
