Pizza time!

After a few minutes the doorbell rang. His mom maid no motion to stand up, so David went to door and took their order from the delivery man. It was a pizza and two cokes. Bringing them into his house, a sanctuary of healthy foods, felt strange. Yet it was his mom who'd ordered him so...

He made to put them on the kitchen table when his mother called out to him. She put one foot on the small table between the couch and the Tv and ordered told him to put them here. He arched a brow but complied.

And so it was that mother and son found themselves seated on the couch next to each other, watching a football match while munching on pizzas and drinking coke. Something David never thought would happen. Leaving alone the fact his mother didn't like football, he'd never seen her eat a pizza or drink coke. His mother detested 'trash food' with all here hearth. Yet here they were. He had to know what was going on.

He took a breath, turned toward her ad said "Mom, what happened today?". She frowned, clearly unhappy with his question, but still answer "Nothing, why?".

David thought real and hard about what he was about to say. Was he really going to jeopardize the way his mother was treating him to sate his curiosity. Yes he was, he decided. He had to know.

"Well, first of all you didn't scold me for the test results. It is very unlike you. Then, I don't know if you noticed it, but your seated like a man! Not to speak about the pizza. This is really unlike you. So, I'll ask again, what happened? And don't tell me nothing, I won't accept it" David stated firmly. he was not going to budge, even if it meant getting grounded for a week.

His mother didn't answer right away. She just sat there, thinking, until finally she made the same smile she'd made earlier in the day "Let's just say I've had a very changing experience. It practically gave me a completely new view on life". Then she started to laugh as if at a joke only she knew.

David frowned and was about to question her farther when she stretched her arm behind him, put it on his back and pulled him in for a side hug, once again squashing his face into her boobs. Then she whispered into his ear "Why? Don't you like the new me better". Then, thankfully, she let him go before his body could react like earlier in the day.

David, shocked like a deer in headlight, looked at his grinning mother. he didn't know what to say, so he said nothing. He got up, took out the trash, and then once again run toward the stairs. His mother's load laughter accompanied him all the way to his room.
