Pizza III

While taking the pizzas back to the room, she heard more noises coming from the kitchen. She used one hand to hold up the pizza boxes, while holding her skirt down with the other. As she got closer she could recognize Esme voice talking to another girl. "Better make a dash for it." But just as she was trying to pass, the kitchen door opened.

"Oh Maddie, have you met Nova yet?"

Esme was standing in the doorway to the kitchen, behind her presumably Nova was stirring a pan. On a quick glance she seemed to be in great shape, wearing a simple sweatpants and shirt. Most notably was her smooth dark skin and curly black hair.

No sneaking past now. "No I haven't. I'm Madison."

Nova turned to her. "Great to meet you!" Before she could react, Nova walked over pulled her into a hug. She just managed to get the pizzas out of the way. "Sorry I'm just so excited to meet everyone." Nova was certainly an energetic girl. Madison couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm, despite her ordeal.

"All good."

"You know, Nova here was just telling me about something interesting that happened today." Esme was leaning against the kitchen counter.

"Oh yeah! I was just saying how this girl's skirt got completely blown up by the wind for everyone to see after my introduction. I'm so glad I wore my sweats today. Can you image everyone seeing your ass on the first day? Poor girl must be mortified."

Maddie's face flushed red. "Oh wow. Sounds be terrible."

"All happened so fast too, and then she just ran away. She could be an athlete too with that speed." Nova paused and looked her over. "She looked very similar to you actually."

Esme was watching the conversation with a wide grin. "Huh, crazy coincidence. Anyway I'm starving." She grabbed two plates. "Could you help me carry some stuff?"

Maddie was glad to see a way out of the exchange. "Sure, just put them on top of the pizza boxes."

"Great." She put the plates on the top box, then added two cups. "Could you manage this jug of water as well?"

Madison shot her roommate a glare, now seeing where she was going with this. Still, at least she could make a quick exit. She let go of her skirt and took the jug. "This is getting heavy, so I'll see you around Nova."

"Of course, enjoy your dinner."

She quickly made her way into the room and put everything down on the desk. That conversation had been terrifying, but at least she had managed to get away without flashing Nova.

A moment later Esme entered the room after her. Carrying absolutely nothing.

"Seriously!?"

Esme laughed. "Sorry, I couldn't help myself when Nova mentioned your incident earlier."

"Just like you couldn't help slipping away just before the pizzas got here? You made me flash the delivery guy!"

"Nice how did he react?" Esme Grabbed a few slices.

"Didn't say anything thankfully. Get your mind out of the gutter."

"Shame. Anyway, that was real actually, Marit and I are doing cheerleading try-outs Wednesday."

"You? Joining the cheer squad?"

"What? A girl can't enjoy some dark magic and school spirit at the same time? I'm a deeply multifaceted being you know."

"Surrrreeee."

"You should join us actually, It will be fun."

"I don't think so."

"It's the one place where you're supposed to show off what's beneath your skirt. You'll fit right in!"

"I thought you were starving?"

"An obvious attempt to distract me, but given that it's pizza I will allow it."

The girl enjoyed their dinner while chatting over more mundane topics for a while. When they where finished, Maddie got up and said: "Seeing as I brought everything, you get to clean up. I'm gonna take a shower."

"Fair enough. A shower does sound nice actually, I might join take one myself after I put in the laundry too."
