Picking a movie

"Here, help me turn the couch," Samantha said, getting up. Tom and Nicole got up as well so that they could position the couch to face the television that was mounted on the wall. The space was a bit tight, especially with three people on the couch, but with a little maneuvering, they managed to sit down.

Nicole sat in the middle with Tom and Samantha on either sides, their thighs touching. Nicole moved a bit and her breast brushed against Samantha's arm. Samantha enjoyed the sensation of the soft flesh against her skin, it was a new experience and she relished it. Nicole's breasts were warm and firm and she found herself wanting to reach out and stroke them but she resisted it and instead concentrated on finding the remote.

"What are we watching?" Tom asked.

Samantha scrolled through her Netflix list. The problem with regular cinema-going was she had already seen most of the films worth watching. As a result, the list was a mixture of BBC comedies, documentaries about eccentrics and dramas that looked interesting. She had tried most of the latter and abandoned many of them after two or three mediocre episodes. There were only a few viable options for films. One was Blue is the Warmest Colour. She remembered reading a positive review when it came out, but recalled nothing else. Tom seemed surprised and uncomfortable at her suggestion. Nicole asked him why and he replied, "It's, erm, supposed to be good, but it's also supposed to be pretty explicit."

"Explicit how? What's it about?" Samantha asked.

"I'm not sure exactly. I just know that the reviews talked about really graphic, erm, sex, lesbian sex." Tom's embarrassment was cute.

"It's also really long," Nicole said, noticing the three-hour run-time. "But, I guess it's only five o'clock."

"You want to watch it then?"
