Perverted Power-Ups

According to Toadsworth, she had a meeting with the Toad infront of making new power-ups. He had an entire time dedicating to helping him produce new ones. The entire thing was funded by the Kingdom's taxes. The new power-ups would then be scattered across the Kingdom to help anyone that needs it during their travels, or be sold to neighboring Kingdoms. The new Power-Ups were actually the Kingdom's biggest source of revenue.

Despite all the money that went into researching them, progress could sometimes be slow. Finding a rare power-up and trying to replicate it so they can make the power-up common place can sometimes take a hundred tries. Creating brand new power-ups... those were even tricker. It usually involved taking an existing power-up and combining it with a random item, sometimes even another power-up, and hoping that it'd change into something useful... or into something new at all.

Even with the slow process, Princess Peach liked to visit them from time to time. It was a good excuse to see her citizens and show her support for such an innovative and important part of the Kingdom.

She left Toadsworth behind and jumped out the Castle window, using her dress to float safely down towards the streets. It was only a few minutes of walking after that before she reached the building. Inside, the lead Toad quickly grabbed her hand and brought her to one of the new Power-Ups.
