Persona 4 protagonist

"Hm... I see. Now, let's take a look into your future shall we? Do you believe in fortune telling? Each reading is done with the same cards, yet the result is always different," Igor chuckled. "Life itself follows the same principles, doesn't it?"

Igor turned over a card to reveal the Tower.

"Hm... The Tower in the upright position represents the immediate future. It seems a terrible catastrophe is imminent." he explained. "The card indicating the future beyond that card is..."

Igor lifted the second card, showing the Moon.

"The Moon in the upright position," he stated. "This card represents "hesitation" and "mystery". Very interesting indeed. It seems you will encounter a misfortune at your destination and a great mystery will be imposed upon you. In the coming days, you will enter into a contract of some sort, after which you will return here. The coming year is a turning point in your destiny. If the mystery goes unsolved, your future may be forever lost. My duty is to provide assistance to our guests to ensure that does not happen. Ah! I have neglected to introduce my assistant to you. This is Margaret. She is a resident of this place, like myself."

"My name is Margaret." the woman said. "I am to accompany you through your journey."

"We shall attend to the details another time," Igor explained. "Until then, farewell."

So my story begins way, way back in April 11th 2011. It was a mostly normal year, for the most part, save for the fact that my parents would be heading overseas for a year starting in April.

I awoke from my sleep, even you could even call it sleep, an old man with a long nose and a beautiful woman in a limo with a deep blue interior. They asked me about my contract and then the old man proceed to tell me about my fortune. I thought nothing of the strange dream after I woke on the train taking me to the place I'd be staying in for a year, Inaba, some small rural town in the middle of nowhere. It had been a pretty long train journey. I looked forward to the quite in comparison with the city. I checked my phone to see I got a text.

The train stopped so I grabbed my bag and stepped off the train and down the stairs to Inaba.
