"Okay, let's try the young lady at the end"

An older looking lady in the front row spoke,

"Hi James, I've been thinking about all the things you told us you wouldn't enjoy. I would like for you to transform into a chimpanzee, which is the animal you found most embarrassing, and then you will spend some time as an obedient and subservient pet chimp, performing tricks for the amusement of the audience"

James stood speechless as he heard Amy repeat the instruction she had just given him.

"You will become a chimpanzee" Amy instructed.

The last thing James saw before his mind clouded over was Amy's face as she looked down at him. A cruel smile crept across her pretty face.

"You will perform tricks for the amusement of the audience"

Then the image blurred and faded into darkness. James's whole perception of his surroundings had changed. He couldn't remember the name Amy or what a hypnosis show was. He was not standing upright anymore. Instead he was hunched over, on all fours. He looked down and could see his hairy, long arms and legs, and his big hands and feet.

Of course, to the audience he was still a naked man. The transformation had been mental, not physical. All the audience could see was a man who believed himself to be a chimpanzee. James's eyes darted around the room he was in, trying to understand what was going on.

"Well, then" Amy asked the woman who had made the request "What kind of tricks would you like to see James perform?"
