Chapter 9 by gothamalleyviper gothamalleyviper

What other discoveries does Jason make about Jenny's life?

People care about her, and it is easy for Jason to fill her shoes

Jason had changed, showered and was dressed in a pair of pajama pants and a tank top. She was still slightly embarrassed by the tramp stamp tattoo that was just above her butt. The Snow Leopard holding the Kyle and the Todd crests with the three long tails, one going off over either butt cheek and one going right up her spine. It made sense, Selina was a mother figure to Jennifer and had made her a part of her family. Jennifer exited the hidden elevator on the third floor and walked down the hallway. Jason stooped and looked around at the four doors. Jason pointed to the closest on the left side of the hall.

“That’s Brooks, that’s Maven’s and that is Jenifer’s…” Jason muttered still not use to the girly voice.

Jason went to the door on the right furthest down the hall. The door opened with a slight squeak.

“Home sweet home,” Jason said.

Like Selina said, right in front of Jason was the Queen sized bed with a large lesbian pride flag above it between French Patio Doors. To the left was another exterior wall with a wardrobe in the near corner, another set of French Patio Doors, a dresser, another set of French Patio Doors and another wardrobe in the far corner. To the right was an interior wall with a pair of doors with a vanity in between.

“Bathroom and then walk in closet,” Jason heard herself say pointing at the closer and then the further of the doors to the right.

Jason noticed a pattern, blacks, pinks, reds and plaids. Plaid wallpapers, red sheets with black pillows and pink skirting on the bed, red and pink dressers with blacken handles. Jason turned and went to the bathroom and started brushing her teeth. Jason looked back at the reflection in the mirror as they both brushed their teeth. She was close enough to be his sister, same blue eyes, a few inches shorter than he remembered himself being. Jennifer’s hair really stood out, rust red cut in an angled bob cut with black dyed hair hanging from her right temple and neon pink dyed hair hanging from her left temple. Jason spit into the sink and sighed. Jason went to back into the bedroom and then out one of the many sets of glass doors onto the wrap around patio that circled the third floor. Jason looked out over the northern end of Gotham Island. Off to the right was Arkham asylum on its perch flanked by Kane Falls.

“Lovely view,” the unfamiliar woman’s voice came from behind Jason.

“What was that?” Jason turned to the blonde woman.

She was wearing fleece pajama boots, ugg boots, and a quilt over her shoulders like a shawl.

“Had the Waynes built up there instead of the Arkhams, it might be a fairytale castle,” the woman said, “Instead it is a house of horrors… Get some sleep Jenny. I that way I can get to sleep knowing all the cats are safe at home.”

“Right, night,” Jason smiled.

“Good night, Jenny,” the blonde turned and went back around the corner.

Jason smiled and went back in. So Selina had her own Alfred up late worrying about the costumed characters of the household. Climbing into bed, Jason found a natural grove in the mattress from where Jennifer had been sleeping on her side for years.

Who wakes Jennifer in the morning?
