People are watching

Lucy opened her eyes and immediately saw half a dozen people staring at her. What was more, Kate and Steph were nowhere to be seen. Lucy looked behind her and saw only one set of footprints coming in from outside, and they belonged to her. "What!?" Lucy couldn't help but saying out loud, "where are they?" Lucy was now in a complete state of panic. Had Kate and Steph set her up? Are they still waiting outside while she stands here in public, and now that Lucy thought about it, on camera too as this mall had pretty good security. Suddenly Lucy could just see a pair of security guards watching her bare body on camera fighting for the privilege of being the one to go and arrest her.

Lucy didn't know what was happening but she knew she needed to leave and fast! Lucy turned to run back out the door she came in from but slipped in the puddle she had made and crashed to the floor. Head spinning, Lucy tried to get back to her feet, but had no luck. Any moment, Lucy knew someone would either drag her off in handcuffs or start taking pictures or a video of her that would end up online. Yet, even though she knew she had already been seen some time ago, she heard no sounds that suggested these things were going to happen. Confused, she stopped her struggle and looked around. It seemed that everyone, save one guy, was choosing to ignore her and that guy was standing over her with his hand extended, but offering help rather then reaching for her.

Lucy took his hand and he pulled her easily to her feet and walked her away from the slick floor. Once back at the bench where his purchases for the day still sat, he offered her his coat before she sat down. Lucy gratefully accepted it. "Thanks," Lucy said blushing with her whole body, "It has been a long day." Putting it on, she could feel warmth stealing through her.

"I can see that," he gave a small chuckle, "My name is Matt. How did you end up naked out in that storm?"

Lucy had no idea why she did it, but she suddenly explained the whole story to Matt, minus some of the more personal moments between her and her co-workers.

"Wow," Matt said after Lucy finished her story, "Its hard to believe," He looked like he was thinking over something for a minute, "is there really a diner with waitstaff of entirely naked girls?"

Lucy burst out laughing as Matt smiled, "Maybe on a good day."

"Promise?" he asked gently.

Lucy would have normally hit someone for this kind of question, but the way he asked made her feel warm, so she nodded, "I promise. Besides, I owe you for the coat," she continued, trying not to think about what she was agreeing to too much.

"No problem," he said with a grin, "so where are these friends of yours?"

"No idea..." Lucy began to say looking back at the door, but just at that moment, she saw the dark hair and soaked skin of her so-called friend. "over there," she finished with a flat almost hostile tone.

Matt wasted no time. In moments he had run over and retrieve both of Lucy's still naked co-workers. Releasing their hands, they both fell to the floor from the same slick reaction that had prevented Lucy's escape. After a few moments of struggling, they looked up guiltily at her.

"Well?" Lucy asked Kate expectantly.
