Chapter 54 by gorel29 gorel29

What's next?

Penny for your thoughts.

Wincing after hearing Lois practically bray out loud in orgasm from wherever she and Clark were, the rest of the satyrs in the main chamber of the Halls of Justice could only look at each other in embarrassment and shivered as they caught themselves almost heading towards her cries of passion out of impulse. The rest of the hall was no better, with some of them placing their hands over their ears after hearing her scream.

“Geez lady, you’re not in Kansas yet.” Winced the Flash, shaking his head.

“I know right?” Hissed Shay’era with her hands to her ears. “You’d think she was a cow or something.”

“Oh. You felt that too huh?” Asked Barry, scratching at his horns in thought. “I mean, damn, Miss Lane’s got some kinks she needs to sort out. Though I got to agree, I think a bell around her neck might help in the long run.”

Shrugging, Diana, and the others could only blink at that the Flash’s comment in confusion. “What?”

“Oh, so you can’t sense that. Figures… Guess that’s the screwed-up benefit of going full blown goat-manwhore.” The man sighed, feeling up his face and frowning that he no longer recognised it. His once triangular nose now merged with his upper lip and his skull pushed out in a muzzle. Having gone completely anthropomorphic goat. “Downside? You look like a cover picture for a Black Sabbath album… Good news is you don’t have trouble conveying that to anyone anymore. I can feel everything you guys are feeling and thinking.”

Closing his eyes, everyone was a little surprised to all hear his voice in their heads.

‘Can even share with you all too. No more secrets anymore I guess…’

“Bull.”

“No… That’s what Lois the blue-ribbon heifer out there is calling Clark.” Shrugged Barry, making a face and rolling his eyes. “Well… She THINKS anyway. Superman still has apple pie and root beer floats on the brain. I know what’s going on in all your heads, even if you don’t know it yourself.”

“Oh yeah?” Eyed Shay’era with her hands at her waist and a sly grin. “Tell me if Bats is the father of my…”

“Nope! Not going there.” Said the Flash with a stomp of his cloven foot, then leaning forward and gestured for everyone to come close so he could whisper. Looking over his shoulder, he eyed Bruce who stood by Manhunter and Vixen at the other side of the large room. The man glaring daggers back at the red furred satyr. “Not with big dark and gloomy within earshot of us. Say what you want but I’m not fast enough to escape HIM if I piss him off! Besides, I can only read other satyrs.”

“Okay then Barry.” Sighed Diana with her hands folded under her heaving chest. “What can you tell us?”

Stepping back and scratching at his hairy chin, the Flash looked to all his changed friends and scrunched his face as if reading each of his friends like they were a road warning sign.

“Well Big Blue’s plans are to go back into the dairy business back in Kansas if he can’t change back, Lois along with’em.”

“Yeah, we got that already.” Scoffed Mera, tilting her broad hip and swishing her finned tail behind her. “Tell us what we don’t know.”

“Arthur here wants to go back to the lighthouse where he grew up in as a backup if he gets booted from Atlantis for being a big ol sealion. Just lounging around on rocks with a beer in hand and YOU there between his legs sucking on his...”

“ASSHOLE!” Declared the red-haired Capricorn, socking her husband in the shoulder hard enough to make Aquaman wince and step back.

“And YOU want to drag your twin sister Siren into a threesome with your husband and have him guess which of you two is the real Mera.”

Wide eyed and blushing, Mera crossed her arms and turned around to cover her face with her hair, while Arthur looked back at his wife in shock.

“Heh… Really Mera?”

“S-s-shut up!”

Laughing out loud and clutching at her sides, Hawk Girl smiled from ear to pointed ear when she pointed towards herself and nodded over to the Flash. “Do me, DO ME. What’s going through MY head?”

“Booze.”

Wiping a tear from her eye, Shay’era regained her composure as she nodded back. “Yeah… That checks out.”

“Well, that and getting triple penetrated by Jon over there.” Seeing Hawkgirl gulp and blush redder than Mera, Diana brought a hand to her mouth in shock when Barry continued. “Yup… Did you know that Martians had like three dicks because I didn’t.”

“It’s true.” Called out Jon from his side of the hall, Making Shay’era turn around and hide her face with her wings wrapped around her horned head.

“And I guess that leaves…” Looking towards Diana, Barry was still smiling until he paused. His smile evaporating as he gave Wonder Woman a look that made his hands drop to his sides. “Wow…”

“It’s okay Barry, you don’t need to say a thing.”

“Okay, good…” Chuckled the red furred satyr, scratching the back of his horned head in relief and making sure he didn’t have a hard-on. Which he did. “Just… Wow. So that’s what two thousand years of discipline has been hiding.”

“Barry…”

“No, no, you’re right.” He winced, shifting his stance to keep his erection down. “Just wasn’t expecting the warrior princess to be hiding a whorier princess deep down inside.”

“Flash, how are our friends on the other side? What are they thinking?”

“THINKING?” Winced Barry as he turned to Aquaman’s question. “Nothing. Heck, you saw me, I wasn’t thinking with my head up here.” He pointed at his horned skull. Then pointed down to his crotch. “THIS guy was in charge the whole time after I went pure angora.”

“Then our friends are truly lost to this nightmare.”

“Not really” Called out Superman as he and Lois returned to join their friends, the satyress clutching to Clark’s arm as she smiled blissfully, resting her chin against his broad shoulder. “If YOU can be brought back thanks to Jon, then so can they.”

“We can get them back, and hopefully everyone else.”

“But that’s just dealing with the symptoms, the REAL problem is the head of this herd marching through the city and leaving nothing but hoof prints in its wake.”

“Buck…” Bristling at the name, Diana looked visibly upset, her tail snapping as she frowned. “He has robbed us of our friends and loved ones for the false promise of endless pleasure.”

“Kind of wished you kicked him the balls harder.” Smirked Shay’era with her arms crossed under her chest. “Figured one kick was enough to snap us all out of it, some ball **** would have reverted us all back to normal.”

“We need to find a way to get to him directly.”

“Yes, and hopefully not in a way where we have to carve our way through millions of mindless animals that used to be people to get to him.” Spoke up Batman, now joining the conversation as he, Vixen and Manhunter joined them. “If we can isolate him from the herd, we can stop all of this once and for all.”

Looking around the moss and plant riddled remains of the halls of justice, Vixen looked confused, a blush tinting her cheeks as she shook off the scents in the air making her feel warm inside.

“By the way, speaking of the herd, why haven’t they just… You know… crashed through here like a Kool-Aid commercial yet like the Flash did.” She asked, fanning herself.

“After the Flash’s impromptu introduction, I began to set up a psychic bubble around the Hall. To anyone or anything outside looking in, this building exudes such an intense aura of mediocrity that it would repel anything seeking instant gratification.”

“Good…” Sighed Vixen, looking up to the satyrized friends looking to each other in conversation, and the woman’s eyes lingered on the Flash as he and Clark talked. To her, their conversation began to muffle as the cinnamon spicy scent filled her nostrils. “REALLY good to hear.”

Looking to the entire room of satyrs and feeling a sense of relief that they wouldn’t be accosted, Diana’s brow furrowed when she looked to her sons and daughters apologising to each other for their loss of control before she noticed someone missing.

“Has anyone seen Hecate?”

Seeing her children shake their heads and shrug, Diana looked around the halls, not finding her anywhere.

*

Hecate was confused. It was all too contradictory, one moment her mother wanted to stop Buck, then rival him, then stop him again… It was like she couldn’t make up her mind. After their blow out of a fight, she stormed off to clear her head and get some fresh air. Stepping outside of the Halls of Justice and out into the open air, Hecate shivered when she stepped out into the day and could see a veritable sea of horns and fur all around her eating and fornicating with wild abandon.

Wandering down the steps leading to the hall, there really wasn’t too much left of the city. All the sky scrappers were nowhere to be seen, and the only things taller than her were trees that were growing faster than bamboo on some wicked plant food. Indeed, even the smooth marble steps were giving way to soft soil, moss, and grass. She wondered what was keeping the braying, moaning horde from just crashing into the halls like a tidal wave, they all seemed to… Avoid the building, like there was something wrong. Turning to look back at the building behind her, Hecate squinted at the sensation it gave off.

A hideous mental barrage of… BORING seminars about criminal law. Bland, uninspiring soap opera episodes that just went on and on. Hours of infomercials and cheap television commercials bombarded her psyche, finally ending in the horrifying mental image of a grocery store with an empty shelf where Oreo cookies were sold out. It was so intense that Hecate had to look away and clutch at her head, running as far away from the Halls of Justice as fast as her legs could carry her.

“Geez, who THINKS about something so horrible?!” Hecate thought out loud.

By the time she had stopped running and looked around, Hecate was far from the Halls of Justice, and found that she had wandered into a forest that had been created from the satyrs rutting and feasting earlier. Looking around, she felt lost, and couldn’t tell where she was except for the kernel of fear still in the distance she tried to run from.

“Oh no. I must get back. I must… What? Who are you?” She asked out loud, looking around to find the source of the voice she was hearing. “Follow your voice? But I don’t know you. I need to get back to… What? Ooooooh…” Hecate swooned, her eyes looking heavy with a dopey smile forming on her lips. “That DOES sound like fun… Tee hee… On my way…”

Making her way deeper into the forests, Hecate followed the voice luring her in deeper until she was finally gone.
