Peko retreats into the gym

It would be too difficult to go through the middle of all of those students without getting held up by questions, Peko realized. Plus, as different as she might look... her name was fully spelled out across the stretched chest of her gym shirt. Plus, even then... how many ghostly pale, red-eyed students could this school have?

... A surprisingly large number, actually, but still.

Peko stuffed her mask into her gym bag and looked both ways, before receding into the gym. This wouldn't get her a way back to the dorm... but it was about the most reasonable place she could think of to be dressed this way. Additionally, it wasn't actually time for any gym classes, so no one should be here...

And yet, someone was. It was the giant, dynamic figure of Nekomaru Nidai, barking orders to a small group of reserve course students that he was currently in the middle of training. "To survive at Hope's Peak Academy, leave the reserve course, and become an ultimate, you need three things: an ultimate appetite, an ultimate sleep, and...?!"

One of the haggard students spoke up, while still doing push-ups. All of these students were dressed in conservative track suits, a far cry from Peko's immodest bloomers, that made her look a few school grades behind. "A-An ultimate shit?"

"... Yes! Gahahaha! Actually, that's exactly right!" Nekomaru guffawed, crossing his arms and seeming as though his laughter fully rang through the gymnasium despite its massive size. "Four things, then! The fourth was good exercise! You're good to recognize the importance of proper bowel movements, though! Focus on the exercise part for now and save the shitting for later!"

"... Y-You say that, but... I'm almost at my limit...!"

"Whaaaaaaat?! Don't shit in heeeere!!"

Peko lowered her eyebrows with an unamused frown. This big guy was always yelling about shit... If you were to make a cuteness spectrum of all of the people at Hope's Peak Academy, including robots, he'd definitely be at the lowest end of it. Still, it looked like the group was busy... maybe she could sneak around to the locker room and find something more decent to wear.

"PEKOOOOOOO!" the Ultimate Team Manager roared, clutching his hands into fists and dropping them to his sides. "You're just in time! I need somebody to show these reserve coursers what it takes to take it up to the next level!"

"N-Now's not really a good time..." Peko murmured, approaching as the reserve course students remarked upon her eccentric clothing. They'd probably all seen her a time or two before and knew that this wasn't a normal look for her. Nekomaru ought to know that as well, and yet...

"What?! You were going somewhere else dressed like that? I don't buy it! You were getting in some secret training; don't lie! Being the Ultimate Team Manager means being a good judge of people's training behavior as well and I know you don't get to be the Ultimate Swordswoman by slacking! I admire that! And as the Ultimate Team Manager, I have to use every tool at my disposal to train my team too! So... I know you're not a 'tool,' but be my tool, just for this lesson!"

Peko grumbled, but came closer all the same. Her glowering expression sent shivers through the other students, even despite the way she was dressed. Peko pushed her glasses up by touching one finger to the side, then crossed her arms. "What would you have me do?"
