Peaceful

Kind of quiet today for a Sunday But a good change of pace. Standing up and going to the closet I grab a white purse/handbag “this should be big enough “ I say. Heading out of the closet and back to the desk. Put the tablet inside the purse and then going through the backpack I transfer pens and pencils and some paper over to the purse. Picking the purse up “a lot lighter now “ I say and still has room for my phone and wallet and maybe a couple other things. Putting the purse back down and pulling the tablet out. Check the power “hmm 65%” I say. Plugging the tablet in. Doesn’t need much but just in case. Don’t want it to die while in class. Looking at the time and have a hour before dinner. Do have time to go downstairs into the studio but I could also do that after dinner as it seems nothing is going on tonight.

Phone beeps with a email message. Hmm “ah from Jackie I wonder how the concert went “ I say to myself. Opening the phone and going to email and clicking that email. “Hey Cindy. The concert was a huge success and people can’t stop talking about your surprise appearance on Saturday. Even the current band didn’t know it was you. Some sales of your stuff actually went up so expect that check at the end of the month. Also heard from Candice and coordinating a appearance with her next month so that will be fun. Just letting you know what is happening. Have a purrfect day. “ “well glad to hear that it went good for everyone though didn’t expect my sales to go up” I say to myself. “Glad Candice reached out to them as it might only be a couple songs but I know she misses playing “ I say to myself “even though she is making good money but her passion is playing guitar “ I say to myself. “Actually I think she still teaches guitar at times “ I say to myself. “Well a win win for everyone then” I say to myself

Phone beeps with a text. “Unknown “. “Probably from someone selling something so might as well as check it and delete it” I say to myself. Going to messages and click this one “hey Cindy letting you know that all the girls are safe and healthy. Luckily no major damage. Did set up counseling for them though. The guy is in jail and just heard he is in the jail hospital with minor injuries. Some people in jail don’t like people like him. You did great today and so did Mary. Glad to have you two on our side. J & J “ “ah ok they scrambled their phone number so no one knows it’s them” I say to myself “so glad the girls are safe and the guy is getting what’s coming to him” I say to myself. “Wonder how April is” I say in my mind. We never been friends but not exactly enemies either. But she just spoils my fun sometimes and others. “Well I’ll leave that up to her “ I say.

Looking at the time as still have some time before dinner. So I start organizing some things and putting my backpack with the school books in the closet “don’t need these since I have the tablet now “ I say to myself as I put the backpack on a shelf. While in the closet I pick out a white off the shoulder ruffle sleeve dress and white 3 inch heel dress shoes to match. Carrying the dress and shoes into the bedroom and putting them on the bed that way I can just grab them after dinner and go into the studio. Going to the desk and grabbing the half empty bottle and finishing that off. Looking at the waste basket with the other bottles and stuff inside “might as well take this down now and already be downstairs when mom calls for dinner. “ I say to myself. Putting the bottle in the bag I pull the bag out of the can and head out of my room and turn and head down the stairs and then around the corner and to the back. Putting the bag in the trash can. Start heading towards the lounge when I hear the announcement from the intercom that dinner is ready. So I just continue down the hall to the dining room. “Ah your down here already dear” mom says when she sees me walk in “yeah had to throw some trash out “ I say as I take a seat. “Ah ok” mom says as she gets things set up. Dad walks in “how you beat me in here” he says as he takes a seat “throwing trash out “ I say “ah that explains it “ dad says Penny and Susan come in completely dressed this time. Didn’t hear the doorbell so Susan must of texted Penny that she was here. “Hey you two how your doing “ dad asks “good “ both say.

After dinner and help cleaning up I head upstairs and down the hall and into my room but not close the door because I go to my desk and grab the laptop and get the key from the drawer then grab the dress and shoes from the bed and head back out the bedroom door closing it behind. Then head down the stairs where mom sees me heading around the corner with my stuff and I head to the lounge and to the door. Unlock the door and go in closing and locking the door behind. Getting everything set up and putting the dress and shoes on. Then do a session with editing for a half hour and post on patreon. As I’m about to do another session when I see the light above the door start flashing. That only happens when someone needs to see me Which is rare as my parents know Jen so she usually goes to my room to wait and no light is used. So must not be her. Grabbing the key I go and unlock the door and open it. Heading out and closing the door behind and lock it. As I am doing so mom walks in “a young lady is here to see you but I don’t recognize her “ she starts to say “as I know most of your friends but don’t know this one “ mom continues saying. “Thanks mom I’ll go check it out “ I say as I start heading down the hall.
