Pay the brother-in-law a visit

After digesting the information from Abby about Cecilie's brother-in-law, you tell her to make an offer to acquire to his hedge fund. After that, you have Abby take Cecilie shopping for clothes and anything she needs to start her new life.

You wait until the evening before you use your magic ring to teleport to Cecilie's brother-in-law's house, which is about a hour away by car. You didn't tell Cecilie about your plan, and you wonder if she would approve. Nonetheless, you've decided to go through with it and you figure that even if she got mad, she would just have to get over it since you own her.

Joe, the brother-in-law, has a pretty nice house in a decent neighborhood and you see 2 cars in the driveway as you appear outside the house unannounced. You go ring the doorbell and a handsome man in a suit comes to the door.

"Joe?" you ask.

"Yes. Who are you?"

"I'm John Colins. I'm interested in acquiring the hedge fund," you state simply. It takes a while for what you said to sink in as Joe processes your name in his head. It might also be your casual attire, t-shirt and jeans, that throws him off.

"Oh! Yes! You're that rich guy who made an offer today! What are you doing here?"

"Well, I like to do my research and I wanted to meet you before we sealed the deal. I figured there's no better way than to show up unannounced, to see you in your most comfortable setting," you say, sounding like you mean it.

"Of course! Please come in! Laura! We have a guest!" Joe shouts and you follow him in. He leads you first to the kitchen where a woman is there at the counter, looking like she's about to start preparing dinner. She's quite pretty and the sweater over the tank top she's wearing hugs her slim figure. She must be Joe's wife and Cecilie's sister-in-law.

"Hi! Are you friend of Joe's?" Laura asks, leaning over the counter. The sweater is low cut although you see down her cleavage.

"Hopefully. We'll see."

"Will you be joining us for dinner?" she asks.

"It depends," you say.

"Well, let's talk business in the study. You're welcome to stay if it goes well," Joe says, ushering you along.
