Two hours later...

Once Ms. Lia was out of range, the lunch hour could not come faster. I'm sitting on 15 gems, only five more of which I was really willing to use on Ms. Hatts to round out my upcoming "deputy" duties. Community service hours or not, I was there for it. The only thing distracting me is my phone in my hand as I walk the busy halls, doing my best to keep the phone close and safe as I join the hustle and bustle towards the cafeteria (or, for me, the offices beyond). Naturally, neither of the two women I was about to join for a disciplinary hearing are within range of the app as I approach... but I do see plenty of other, key names there, including two of the girls I contemplated yesterday.

As I get past the cafeteria and common areas, and start approaching the unpopular wing reserved for the staff offices, I at last start seeing the familiar names of some teachers and totally unknown names of a few staffers. Among them, of course, are Ms. Lia and Ms. Hatts. But what I don't expect is the lone student that comes up: the Chess Queen herself, Donna Chen. I think I had heard something about her eating lunches in the office to avoid the crowds, but I'm still surprised to see her in this pivotal moment.

These labels are getting cheeky... and I'm getting excited as I walk into the office. With that, I walk up to the quiet Donna Chen and greet her with a smile. Her face grows worried; I start to suspect that she suspects the intention. My smile grows because it's too late for her to get away.
