Chapter 9 by hewhoismany hewhoismany

How is Paula doing?

Paula wants to change back as soon as possible.

The changes she'd undergone so far were acting like a heavy blanket on her emotions, but Paula fought that internal indifference tooth and nail as she pulled away from the hug. Letting out an angry huff, she gestured to her fatter, smellier body. "How do you think I'm doing? The weight isn't the worst thing in the world, but it feels like I'm turning into a lazy, dirty slob! It's messing with my mind too, making we want to just give up and stay this way. I need to find some way to turn back."

It wasn't like Jed was going to disagree with that. Taking her gold coin, he looked at it, trying to think this through. "So, it seems like this changes you based on how you act, but doesn't change anyone's memories or anything like that. So, you need to act in some way that would make you less like a slob, and if you're holding the coin, it would work." Then, he started really thinking, holding his chin in his hand. "So, we could try having you do stuff that's the opposite of being a slob, or we could use a different stereotype as the base...what do you think?"

What should they do?
