Paula gets dumber but stays loyal to Jed, being his bimbo girlfriend.

Rather than interpreting this as some sort of betrayal to Jed, Paula's immediate instinct was to admonish herself for being stupid. Of course people would see it that way, she should have been smarter than this, she looked like some dumb bimbo. It was those thoughts the coin latched onto, bending her mind along those lines. Not only did her general intelligence drop sharply, but the way she spoke changed as well, becoming the very embodiment of how she imagined dumb bimbo's to talk. Her body didn't change at all, at least not yet. Covering her mouth with her hands, she exclaimed, "Oh, my, god! I am so sorry, but mister I'd never do something like that! I, like, gotta go!"

Before the neighbor could remark on her change of speech, she bolted back to her own apartment. Once safely inside, she looked down at her clothes in annoyance. Stupid clothes! Getting people to think mean things about her! Actually, her new bimbo sense of fashion was making the clothes look even worse to her, enough that she felt like she had to do something about it.
