"Enable active camo and stealth functions to full. No time for safeties now. Disable saftey protocols. We're jumping into a live full field test." He smiled behind the mask of the helmet. "HUD is working fine. Status check."

(("Suit Interface, OK. Weapons systems, OK. Active Camo, OK. Stealth Systems, OK. Energy output available, OK. Van der Waals adhesion circuits, OK. Flight surfaces, OK. All variables, OK. All systems running optimally so far. Congratulations."))

He smirked and took off for a better look at the ground and surrounding area. "Thanks. I see 3S strike teams are moving into position. That's excellent work."

(("Yes", Friday said displaying information world wide. "Our and our allied forces are moving into position. Warning. Stark Satellite has detected spatial anomaly."))

Walt read the read out as something was detected approaching the Earth's atmosphere quickly. "Sonsabitches. I knew it. The trajectory is the island?"

(("It is, Sir. Unlikely that it's a nuclear weapon or other WMD. It appears to be a machine man."))

Walt smirked. "Yeah they want to make this attack a show. Upstarts trying to upstage the big night. Too bad. Open up Tony's Toy Box and play Friday."

(("Understood "Toy Box" is open and systems are locked on and ready to proceed on your command."))

Walt smiled grimly. "Sorry, Tony. I'm setting off some of the fireworks you spent your fortune collecting. Friday... take them to school."

(("Understood. Launching payload."))

"...And here they are! Your new X-Men team!"

The new team were gathered on the stage and being introduced one by one. They saved the J's for last introducing Jubilee and finally Juggernaut. Jubilee pointed up looking through her pink shades at flashes in the sky. "Cool light show but I could've-"

This was not how things were supposed to go.

Nimrod had launched himself towards the Earth and Krakoa from space. He'd planed to tear the new X-Men team apart like a bolt from the heavens. He still landed among them ripping their bodies apart from the force killing most of them instantly... but he didn't use the pardon me for dropping in" line He'd planned on using.

He didn't feel like it. Things had gone wrong. Instead he said one thing. Shouted one word through damaged speakers. "STAAARK!"

From the moment He'd neared his final trajectory and entry He'd been attacked. From beyond the Earths atmosphere in space He'd been hit by nuclear weapons, balastic missles and other mass ordinance over and over before hitting a field of smart mines... all bearing a makers mark. A single name. Stark.

It hadn't ended there either. Dropping out of space and plummeting through the atmosphere at incredible speed He'd still been attacked with pinpoint accuracy with a multitude of weaponry faster than his systems could report and regenerate the damage.

The other Supers were always going to be next. Mutants were just the first to target. Then after all the "heroes" were gone Humanity itself would come under their heel. Then the real work could begin. Machine domination. But Nimrod moved "Stark" to the top of the list of priorities to destroy... personally. At least he'd destroyed the X-Men. He looked down at the one called Jubilee and wished his robotic body could smile as he lifted his damaged but healing bulk to smash her head like ripe fruit.

Instead of looking at him with fear though she vanished from his optics smirking, as did the rest of the smirking X-Men, even the dead ones. Then his world erupted in riotous color and heat.

Jean Grey had telekineticly blunted the Shockwave blast of Nimrod's orbital drop and Neo had dropped her illusion just as Jubilee and Dazzler lead the counter attack. Lasers scored, explosions boomed, ice froze Nimrod as Bobby joined in then Juggernaut plowed into the Sentinel with Laura Kinney and the others following suit.

Orchis forces stormed through the Krakoa gates. All of them around the world. They'd managed to reverse them. Now they wouldn't work for mutants but would for them. They could shut the mutants out or send them where they wanted them to go. The majority of the powerful mutants were trapped on Krakoa now... until it was time to send them through the gates to their disposal and doom. That was the plan. Get rid of all the mutants on earth in one fell swoop. They'd hold humanity itself hostage with the tampered drugs then eliminate Jean Grey and under threat have Xavier force the mutants to comply.

What wasn't part of the plan was finding spaceships holding the Arrakoan Mutants waiting for them with an equal number of highly trained non-mutants forces. The Omega mutants from Mars had come to help the Earth mutants. They punched holes through the Orchis opposition they encountered and then the non-mutants did their part. They charged through the gates and took the fight to Orchis hidden bases and staging areas. Things became a confusing melee as Atlantian soldiers, Asgardian warriors, Latverian troops and Doom Bots, and finding their new Stark Sentinels turned on them with more showing up as well! And everywhere were blacksuited individuals who were highly trained and used a multitude of high-mobility tactical rigs of unknown but familiar looking origin... and then there were the others.

Fireballs, Hadoukens, lighting bolts, invisible assailants, whirling blades, gunfire and magic... Orchis was overwhelmed with more fantastic opponents then they had counted on.

Moira-X snuck behind Jean. If she could strike her down with the otherworld blade covered in blightswill then go after Charles... "Jean" kicked backwards and quickly produced handguns and started firing. "Sorry, not sorry," the Baroness smiled coldly under her Jean Grey disguise as Logan stepped out of the shadows and hacked off her robotic appendage with the envenomed blade. "Your little plan has been seen through."

"This is checkmate," Mystique said dropping her Xavier disguise and doing the same to Dr Stasis. She enjoyed the look of realization on his face when the humans didn't start going crazy. "The drugs you tampered with were halted. Classic misdirection. Jean and Charles are elsewhere. The Humans AND the Mutants will be safe. The dream will survive!"

Stasis smiled sinisterly. "Checkmate? I wouldn't be so sure." He quickly drew his Sinister Six Shooter.

"I don't think so! Ribbit," came from over head. Tsuyu's tongue wrapped around it drawing it away upwards towards where she clung to the wall. The Electro bolt discharging away harmlessly over Mystique's head missing her before Tsuyu pulled it from his grasp. "I should show this to Walt later," She tucked the gun away in her belt.

Mystique quickly pressed her attack and beat Nathaniel Essex clone savagely into unconsciousness. She looked up as Tsuyu joined her and they restrained him. "You saved me?"

Tsuyu nodded. "I guess I did. Ribbit," she said simply.

Mystique shook her head in disbelief... but she smirked. "I won't say "I'm sorry" for hitting you before... but I owe you. I won't forget that."

Tsuyu looked at her and shook her head. "You don't owe me anything. That isn't why I did it. Ribbit."

Mystique also shook her head but quietly said, "Thank you, Tsuyu."

Tsuyu smiled. "You're very welcome, Mystique. And I told you... Just call me, Tsu, like everyone else."

Mystique nodded and very slightly smiled. "Alright... Tsu..."

"Surrender to the-Augh!"

"Sorry, Mister Angry Talking Gorilla!" Penny said after blasting it.

"Azeroth Metrion Zinthos!" Raven chanted sending Orchis goons flying back through the gate.

Blake struck down a group of foes in a flash then shook her head. "Having fun?"

Yang grinned and put her foot on MODOK's over sized head. "He wasn't so tough without that mind whammy thing. Thanks Emma! One rocket punch to the nuts and down he went!"

Blake rolled her eyes but smiled. "Mind whammy thing? You're so lucky you're cute."

Emma fought it but the corners of her mouth lifted. "You're very welcome. Happy to help."

"This is... statistically improbable... impossible!" He started to rise... but the sky darkened and twin lighting bolts struck him as Storm and Thor flew overhead.

"I believe you hit him first, milady," Thor graciously saluted.

Storm laughed. "Nay... I believe that you did."

Thor laughed. "Together then."

Yang grinned and shrugged as she adjusted her arm as Nora kicked him. "Awwww... I think you broke it... dibs on the chair!"

Pyrra shook her head pointing. "Later... there's our friends!"

The spaceship lowered, it's cargo bay was open as Shocket straffed the enemy with heavy blaster fire and Merida stood next to her taking carefully placed, precise shots with her bow.

"You want some of this?!" Shocket said firing another burst. "Helluvah party! Glad we came fashionably late from Mars!"

Linda in a gown flying with Mission as her copilot rolled her eyes. "You're ridiculous, you know that? You didn't even dress up!"

Shocket grinned putting away the heavy repeating blaster and she wrapped a silken scarf around her neck. "Yes, I did!" She pulled out two pistol sized blasters and checked her jetpack rig. "Ready to rock and roll, Red?"

Merida grinned. "Aye! Ah love a guid rammy! Let's gie thaim whit fur!"

Shocket blinked. "There's what in my fur?" She shook her head. "Nevermind. Universal Translators acting up, I think. I heard a "yes" and that's good enough for me! Let's go!" She dived out firing and Merida leaped out bow in hand laughing.

Mission giggled manning the ships turrets. "This makes me think of Revan-Walters war cry he taught us."

Linda smiled. "Oh yeah? Now's as good a time as any for it. How's it go?"

Mission grinned and the young Twi'lek lass belted out at the top of her lungs, "YEEE HAAAAAW!"

Linda grinned and shrugged. "Can't beat 'em, join 'em... YEEE HAAAAAW!!!"
