Chapter 9 by Blurred_Words Blurred_Words

What's Erin's plan for the rest of the night?

Party, Party, Party!

“Let’s keep the party going! Why not. It’s college.” Erin responds without even thinking about it. Her friends start to waiver, but you already have your prize. So you give the rest of the girls the same question and all of them want to keep the night going as well, even if not as enthusiastically as Erin. Peer pressure or no girl left behind, you aren’t sure which it was, but you smile as the six of you head out of the bar.

You and Alice get back first, and set the place up. Luckily, Alice forces you to keep the place pretty clean, so it wasn’t too hard. You hear the doorbell and go to answer it as Alice starts turning on some music.

The girls come in, a bit in shock of the house. It’s not a fancy place, but when you are used to college dorms, you guess anything that isn’t a poster on the wall is high class.

The evening goes really well after that. You find out that the four girls just met earlier this year as they are all living in the same dorm on campus, plus are all new to the city. Alice spends a lot of time talking to them, and you are mainly just making drinks. You have been waiting for Erin to step away so you can talk one on one, but none of the five girls are moving from the living room.

Eventually, it happens, Erin says she needs to use the bathroom, and you know this is your best, and possibly only, shot. The hall bath is within eyeshot of the living room, so that would seem weird for you to help her head there, but thinking on your feet, you tell her to use the one in the bedroom as the guest one is broken, and you offer to show it to her. She hesitates, and you decide it’s time to go for it. “Would you rather hold it for the rest of the night, or let me show you where the bathroom is?” Simple, easy. Should be an easy choice, she was the one that pushed for the group to head home with you.

Alice speaks up – “I mean I can show you, if you are afraid of Jim walking you somewhere.” She was trying to defuse the situation, but that wasn’t a WYR option, meaning Erin couldn’t accept it even if she wanted to. It was another tense moment before Erin answered.

“No, it’s fine, Jim can show me. He’s been nothing but a gentleman all night.”

Bingo! The two of you head off on a 50 foot journey. The only benefit being you could ask a question without anyone else hearing or seeing it. You show her the bathroom, and make sure she knows her way back, trying to act like it was a maze and you were useful. She giggles and says she’s fine, then closes the door between you.

You wait a minute or so, trying to formulate the perfect question. You don’t want to give her ****, nothing like “date me or die”. You aren’t an evil monster of anything. But you wanted to ensure she picked you.

Once you hear a flush, you went for it.

“Hey, sorry to bug you, but I have a serious question. We’ve been getting along great, and I just wanted to know, would you rather stay here tonight with Alice and I and see where the night takes us, or head back to the dorms right now, and never remember this night at all including that you even met us?” You guess that’s the best approach. Either way she wouldn’t be worse off, right?

You heard the sink turn on, then off. Then the door opened and Erin looked at you.

“Silly, the party is still going. One pee break and you think I need to leave. Let’s get back to the group.”

Guess that means she’s staying, well, in for a penny, in for a pound.

“I’m personally getting a bit bored of the talking, what about you? Would you rather keep just talking, or do you want to play some games?”

Erin smiles, leans forward and stares you dead in the eyes – “You can’t keep up with me Mr Fancy House. I’m in college, drinking games are all I know and I can out drink you all day.”

This girl is adorable. She’s 4 or 5 drinks in, and thinks she can keep up adults. Your job has been training your liver for years, no freshman would be able to beat you. Not that you were concerned, but still.

Also, you said just ‘games’, right? Why is she talking about drinking? Maybe that is what she wants and it wasn’t not allowed per the WYR? How much flexibly do people have in the answers. You have been focusing on not backouts, but do you need to get even more specific and watch for side-stepping now too? This power is becoming more of a thinking hassle than you thought it would be.

Anyways… the two of you head back to the living, and Erin is trying to convince the other girls to play a game with her. But while Erin has been letting loose, there was ‘the mom’ of the group that was trying to end the evening. Need to stop her quickly, you jump into action.

“How about this,” you say focusing on the group mom whose name you don’t even know because you have only been focusing on Erin, “would you rather **** all the girls to go back with you against their wishes, or let them choose what they want?” It was quick, but it felt save. Either way, group mom will leave, and only the ones that want to party will stay. And since Erin already made her choice in the bedroom, you knew she would stay if given the choice.

“We’re adults, let us pick.” Erin shouted from the couch. Maybe you should watch her drinking in the future, but for now it was too late. You stare at the group mom once again.

How does group mom... screw it, Party more!
