Party's over

April jumped up and walked to Allen immediately.

"Hi, Allen!" she had surprise in her voice, "Whatcha doin here?" She knew she was in trouble, but Allen was the least strict of the adults that could have caught her having a party. So she planned to deal with it casually.

"Hi. I just brought a couple of dossiers your father asked for and I need to check a few things." Allen looked around the little crowd of young adults, "And I seem to be crashing a great party right now." he added, with a shy smile.

"That sounds very important. Why don't I open the office for you and leave you to your work then?" She planned to lure Allen away from the others. She was used to treating him like a friend, but her peers were nervous at the sight of an adult.

"That sounds like a plan. Though'd hate to be the one to tell you this," he said while easing his tie. "But you gotta send the guys home first. Party's over."

The crowd gave a disappointed booh, but turned to April, ready to leave once she approved.

"Oh, Allen! Don't be such a party pooper!" April huffed. She was still in the mood for some fun. Especially now after several drinks.

"Listen, you know I like to party and I would never tell on you." he consoled her. "But your father knows I am here." he paused, "If he learns about this party, I will be in big trouble." He conveyed the crowd and pointed at them. "And so will all of you."

This was when Allen noticed someone in the middle of the now empty pool, with the others sitting at the edge, like they were preparing for a show.

"By the way, who's the kid?" he asked while pointing towards Lauren.

The crowd laughed at his remark as Lauren's cheeks burned with shame. It was over. She would be found out. Her status at the Perrys and her plans of seducing Allen were over. She would become the laughing stock of the entire town. From the most beautiful woman to kid in a couple of hours.

"Oh, the kid?" April had kind of forgotten about Lauren in light of the recent events. She looked at her and a huge grin appeared on her face. Her game was not over yet. "One of the neighbors had to leave and asked me to look after li'l Ellie for the day." She turned to Lauren, "Isn't that right, honey?"

All eyes turned towards the nudie in the pool.

Lauren was mortified. If she denied it, she would be found out for sure. She had to play along. All she could muster was a nod. But once she saw Allen believing this story, she breathed a huge sigh of relief. Well, her predicament was still dire - naked at the house she was supposed to supervise - but at least her crush hadn't recognized her. She was now 'lil Ellie' from the neighborhood. But why was April helping her? And what was that little spark she noticed in her eyes? Oh, Lauren would soon find out...
