If nothing else Brian was grateful that he could run so fast now. He normally would be out of breath after a few minutes but his stamina appeared to have improved along with the rest of his body. "What was that about? Who's your dad?" Asked Brian curiously.

"He's the City Attorney. Busy, yeah right, he's probably busy fucking his secretary or one of the other bimbos in his office!" Grace burst. "But he's right we need to find a quiet place where we can talk."

"How about the library?" Brian suggested.

"Nope! Tried that before, believe me you don't want to go the library for peace and quiet." Grace said trying not to think about the first time she went to the city's library.

"I guess we could go to my place, my dad always comes back late. You heard the officer, he's always oh so very busy!" Grace said, the last words were so bitter Brian could almost taste them.

"Ok let's go there." Brian said rapidly understanding that he should avoid any mention of her dad as much as possible.
