Parking lot

There's a parking lot out behind the diner. The customers don't have access to it, and Mick and Gemma basically never bother to go out there, since they both park out in the main lot every morning. That makes it the perfect place to slack off every day.

You suggest it to the other waitresses and they agree with the idea. The three of you sneak out back, taking care that Gemma doesn't see you and ask any questions about what you might be doing (even if it's your break time).

The parking lot is beat up, with the asphalt cracked and the lines badly faded. There's a reason the higher-ups don't park their cars here. The waiters and waitresses don't usually have cars, so there's really only garbage and your bike out here.

"Why don't we lie down?" Sydney suggests.

You lie down with your head right next to Sydney's, your legs pointing off in a different direction. Jean lies down, the three of you forming a sort of three-spoked wheel of waitresses in the middle of the empty lot.

Sydney pulls out the joint and her lighter and takes the first puff, breathing deeply from it and then passing it over to you. Glancing over at your friend, you realize how nice she looks today.
