Park and ice cream

You drive slowly to the park, where you find a parking spot and get out. You walk hand in hand to an ice cream shop. You each order your favourite ice cream, and start walking through the park.

"I feel like I know where animals are hiding, I'm pretty sure there is something behind that bush," you say, pointing towards a small bush. "Is it normal?"

"Of course not"

"What?" you ask, slightly startled.

"You are a werewolf now, you are far from normal" she smiles "and that is a squirrel, he is making too much noise. If you are in the forest, far away from human activity, and you listen carefully, you will find out that hiding from us is not a thing that many can achieve."

"You mean, there are things that can hide from us?" you inquire, surprised.

"Vampires can hide successfully, but you can usually smell them, so if they are in an open space, you can find them easily, but if it's inside a building, especially where they live, it's very hard to spot them since it smells of vampires all over the place, and I've heard that humans developed some costumes to hide from supernatural beings, but I don't know exactly what" she explains calmly.

"How do you know that?"

"Acaria explained a lot of things, she is quite knowledgeable!"

"Does that mean she knows what went wrong last night?"

"She is probably talking to Mia about it, she might run some tests on us later..."

"I don't want us to be lab rats for anyone." you tense up.

"They wouldn't hurt us, probably take some blood or run some detection spells." She calms you down.

"Would you be happy if we were becoming more human?"

She stops, and you turn around after two more steps. " I don't think we are, remember the squirrel? That's not normal. I wish we wouldn't have to go through this, but this has been going on for a long time, and there is no cure, once a werewolf, always a werewolf."

She looks serious, so you pat her head, to calm her down. "I'm just curious, I don't know anything, remember?" You grab her hand and go for a bench in a more secluded area.
