Chapter 33 by Akula

Don't you just hate interruptions like that?

Parental Distance

Jessica’s demeanor had switched almost instantly in front of Simon as the phone started ringing. Before that, he had the realization that his genie could get out of any situation by uttering another magic phrase. The way she brought up what that meant for her made his skin feel like it was on fire as the growing mound from the front of his pants brought on pain from tightness.

The blonde had been lying in nothing but her red-plaid lingerie and black socks on his bed, looking up at him as she spoke of the control he had over her with a similar feeling of arousal hidden behind her words.

She liked it. It confused her.

But still, Jessica liked the idea of belonging to him.

Simon remembered always feeling like he belonged to her, but there had been a time, a significant time, where both had belonged to each other.

When in their early years she happily belonged to him until they were broken apart. She hadn’t remembered what it was like, but Jessica had been coming back to him. She wasn’t a toy, or some possession, and having to watch her let herself be treated that way by others was torturous.

She was his again. This time he wouldn’t allow for anything to change that.

However, some realizations and revelations had been more painful than others. His beloved blonde was going to need him as he needed her.

Whether it be something as complicated on summoning her genie-mother-

-or as simple as dealing with an angry phone call.

“Um. Hi Daddy,” the blonde greeted nervously with as pleasantly a tone she could put on it.

“What happened Jessica?”

Her father’s voice sounded uninterested, distant, angered, and annoyed, from what Simon could put together. The young man watched as his genie curled up instinctively after hearing her father’s blunt tone caused her to flinch.

“Not now, Jessica. I’m busy.”

Simon could remember watching the young blonde girl tugging at the front of her dress as she tried to ask if her father wanted to play with her and the young boy. She was a bundle of nerves and nodded her head quickly as he disappeared behind the door to his office. The blonde girl barely even managed to ask as she shuffled her feet away from the door. Her eyes watering, whimpering.

His younger self reached out for her hand, “Let’s go play in your sandbox.”

She immediately smiled at him and began dragging the young boy outside.

Jessica laughed as she flipped some of her hair away from her face, “Daddy it wasn’t…”

“Your school told me your boyfriend got expelled for attacking you and another student? His father apparently saying something to the school about legal exposure?”

Mr. Edwards was definitely not in the mood for playing games, and Jessica immediately felt her mood spiral downwards as she spoke nervously again, “That’s- That’s not what…”

Her father sighed, ignoring her words as he spoke to himself as well as his daughter, “I should’ve pulled you out of that school years ago if I knew this was going to happen. The house was spotless, Steph was glowing about the reviews from your friends online, but something had to go wrong didn’t it? Letting you go off with these sorts of boys, was it to spite me?”

Simon watched as Jessica shook her head as if her father was even capable of seeing her. The man on the phone asking his daughter a question again, “Where are you, Jessica?”

“Um, I-I’m at the Harris’ house,” she responded, trying not to anger the man any further.

“I didn’t mean to make you angry,” her mind echoed out.

She adored her father, and Simon knew the man loved his daughter, but…

“Well your car is still here, so I’ll send someone to pick you up,” her father informed her, “You’re coming home, now.”

Her father was always authoritative, always getting his way. All she wanted for him was to be the perfect daughter. Did what she was told. Being the only daughter of a wealthy man meant she often had a new toy to play with every week. That was when she was just a girl with a friend as close as Simon was to her. Without him, he could only be left to wonder how his beloved blonde genie was left to cope.

With the man's latest remarks to his daughter, Jessica was almost on the verge of tears, “B-But I….”

Simon had enough of this.

“Look, Mr. Edwards, it wasn’t Jess’ fault. Her boyfriend attacked me in the hallway and she tried to stop it.”

Jessica’s head turned on a swivel to face her Master as she looked worriedly at him. Simon glanced at her as he frowned. There was no way in hell he was going to let the conversation keep going as it was.

But now he put himself out in the open.

Her father growled at him, “Look young man, I don’t know what sort of bullshit you’ve dragged my daughter into, but I am not in the mood for any dramas. So why don’t you tell me your name so I can explain this to you.”

Simon found himself blinking confused.

Really? Her Dad hadn’t figure it out yet? Her daughter told him where she was at.

“Um, it’s Simon,” he answered unfazed by the change in mood.

“Okay then Simon here’s what’s going to happen,” her father began to speak, “You’re going to….”

The man’s voice suddenly trailed off as Jessica and Simon looked at each other as his voice suddenly changed to one of surprise instead of anger.

“Simon? Simon Harris?”

Simon blinked, “Uh, yeah? That’s me.”

Jessica nearly jumped off the bed as she watched her phone suddenly start ringing to that of a facetime call from her father. The genie tapping the green answer button and making sure to keep the phone above her torso as her father’s familiar face and features appeared on the screen from the backdrop of Jess’ ballroom.

“Holy- Simon! Look at you!” the man’s angry demeanor seemed to melt away as Simon looked to the blonde who was just as confused by his reaction.

Jessica’s father motioning to someone in the background, “Babe! Come here! You’ll never guess who’s on the phone!”

“Um, Simon? What’s going on?” his genie asked confused via their link.

“That wish to get out of trouble was more powerful than we probably thought, but I wasn't expecting your Dad to....”

A younger woman appeared, gorgeous and in her 30s, breasts bouncing behind a tight white tennis outfit, sunglasses and visor still on. The premier trophy wife herself.

“Jessie!” Stephanie let out a mischievous hum, “You didn’t tell us you were seeing Simon again!”

Simon watched as Jessica’s face became further confused and looked at the young man and then back her parents.

“Wait, you guys know who Simon is?”

That should’ve been pretty obvious at this point, Simon thought to himself. Now he was left wondering for himself how much Jessica really forgot. Getting out of trouble for the fight at school was one thing, but something still didn't add up. He wished for his genie to remember him and their time together, but the more and more she remembered, the more it was starting to occur to him that Jessica’s forgetting of who he was made less sense by the day. They had been with each other for years.

And her parents only made that point more clear as the conversation turned toward that topic.

“Know him?” Stephanie laughed, “Jessica! You two were inseparable! Gosh, I still remember you both in the wedding! You were ADORABLE!

“Wedding?” Jessica and Simon both thought the word simultaneously as they looked at each other.

Her father seemed to even back that up, “Oh yeah. You both would’ve been 4 at the time when that happened.”

Simon tried to remember back as far as he could. He had to have been 3 years old when he first met Jessica, and he vaguely recalled being at a wedding with her when they were little. As well as a peculiar dislike of bow ties.

"I can remember bits of it."

"Me too," his genie replied back to him with a quick glance, "How could I forget that though?"

Stephanie continued to gush, “Jessica you were SO precious as a flower girl! I’ll have to find that album now. Mmmmm, I remember afterwards too. Don’t you baby?”

Simon and Jessica both stayed silent as her father delivered a smack on her stepmother’s ass as she licked her lips and waved goodbye, “He looks good, Jessie! I've wondered where you've been hiding him! Don’t wait up, dear!”

The auburn-haired and blonde-haired teenagers felt themselves blushing out of their own embarrassment. Simon let out a nervous laugh as her father stayed on the phone and looked concerned at him.

“It’s good to see you, kiddo. But what happened with Jessica at school?”

Shouldn’t he be asking his daughter instead of him?

Simon sighed as he rubbed the back of his head, “Jessica’s boyfriend didn’t like me hanging out around her since we reconnected at her birthday, and he really didn’t like it when I pointed out that I knew he had been cheating on her. So Brad got a part of the football team to corner me in the hallway and Jess tried to stop them.”

The blonde found her voice again as she spoke, “They were going to beat Master up into a pulp, Daddy! I wanted them to stop.”

Simon then answered before her father could interrupt her again, “And then Brad threatened some nasty things against Jess and my sister to my face that attracted attention, so I kind of… broke his nose and hand in self-defense…?”

The way he said it, sounding unsure of himself, or how the man would react. Simon didn’t consider how Mr. Edwards would react to hearing such a story. Sure the wish would keep him and Jess out of trouble, but would he be annoyed? Depressed? Angry?

The man suddenly laughed, “Still defending my little princess after all these years, eh Simon?”

“Y-Yeah….”

He kept feeling himself blush and reached to scratch that constantly itching part of his head whenever he became nervous.

Jessica smiled as she looked at her father now with a sense of relief that he was no longer angry, “Listen, Daddy, is it all right if I stay with Master and Sam tonight? I don’t think that….”

The man looked back at his daughter tiredly with a smile, “Princess, it would be good if you came home for me either way. So, I think it would be best for you for me to send the car.”

The young man watched as his genie let her shoulders slump as if she had no other choice. She sighed sadly in acceptance feeling she was obligated to obey her father’s wishes as always.

Simon didn’t think so.

“Tell your Dad, ‘Simon says it’s okay for you to stay here.’”

Jessica’s head perked up and her eyes widened as she looked at the phone, compelled by her Master’s order, “Daddy, Simon says it’s okay for me to stay here.

Her father seemed to stare for a moment as if there was a delay and looked at his daughter’s sad face as he let out a sigh and chuckled, “Ah, what the hell, Jessica. Seeing you two together brings up some old memories in me, if it’s what you want Princess, you can stay. No more funny business at school though, understand?”

Simon watched as Jessica’s smile radiated both to him and her father, her bubbly giggle infecting both men, “I promise, Daddy! I love you!”

“Love you too, Princess,” the man smiled as he darted his eyes over at the young man, “Simon. Keep her out of trouble. You have a good history of doing that, unlike that sister of yours.”

“Um. Okay?”

Did he just get hired by his genie's Dad to be her bodyguard? It sounded like Mr. Edwards was hiring him for that.

Jessica kissed her phone as she waved and her father turned off the call. She giggled and bounced up and down on the bed, giving Simon a view of her body bouncing as she held her phone close to her chest. Happy Jess was always a Bouncy Jess.

And Bouncy Jess in lingerie was an Extremely Attractive Jess.

Extremely Attractive Jess was also very photogenic.

And Simon was a photographer.

He moved to grab his camera and a few attachments, including a light diffuser from the other side of the room, he smiled and placed the strap over his shoulder to keep it from dropping. Jessica’s emerald orbs turning to look up at her Master and seeing the familiar sight of his lens greeting her.

He let out a laugh as he took a photo of her while crouching, her bouncing on his bed on her knees from an angle.

“Master!” she blushed out of embarrassment, “Why are you taking photos of me!”

She even had to ask that question? After all the years he had to prevent himself from doing the very thing he was doing now? During her forgetful period how she thought he was doing the very thing he was now able to do?

“Jess, fall back on the bed, spread your arms out and lie down with one knee bent upward. Then stare at the ceiling.”

His genie obeyed, now posing on his bed for the shot he wanted to have of her. The blonde realizing he was once again doing as he had once they had finished cooking in her kitchen that night at her house.

He took at least 15 different shots of her at different angles until the auburn-haired young man felt satisfied. He landed himself on the bed next to her and began to scroll through. Simon smiled to his genie, “I love taking photos of you, Jess, but you liked to accuse me of stalking you; so if I did that, I would’ve only made you more angry.”

The blonde pouted as she was reminded of her once disgust towards her Master and leaned her head on his shoulder, “I’m sorry, Simon. I never meant for it to be this….”

She didn’t have to apologize to him for anything, he felt. So he smiled if only to keep her from becoming guilty, “Jess, it’s okay! There’s no obstacles or restraint anymore for me to worry about! You’re mine again. Now we can do this any time we want!”

Jessica blushed at him as she knelt in front of him, a finger poking innocently into her mouth as her eyes looked down at his camera.

Simon leaned forward and whispered in her ear, letting her know another secret, “You’re my muse, Jess. You know that, right?”

The blonde perked up as she remained blushing, and whipped her hair out of her face as she smirked, “Of course I am! I mean-I better be! I should be!”

It was a good thing she was smiling now, Simon thought.

Because the rest of their night was going to be one non-stop ride. He cleared his throat and held up his hand.

“Okay Jess, we’re going to go test your new power downstairs for dinner.”

He watched his blonde bombshell suddenly become nervous again as her green eyes looked at him, “W-Wait Master, what do you mean by….”

He had a thought, then put his fingers together.

Snap.

Someone mentioned Sushi?
