Pandora

"Alright, back there. Time to wake up."

You start to wake up, still slightly groggy from sleep.

"Hahaaa, it's a beautiful day. Full of opportunity."

You look around and realize that you were asleep in the back of a bus. The portal must have transported you to the bus, but in the process you fell out of consciousness. When you peer out the window, you see that the bus is traveling across what appears to be a desert.

"Next stop, Firestone Depot. Time to gather up your stuff, heh. Who's getting off the bus?"

Riding the bus with you are three men and a woman. All look to be some sort of mercenary. You follow them as they get off the bus.

As you get off the bus, you glance at the driver. He seems very familiar. Noticing your stare, the driver turns around.

"Welllll... we're here. Heh, don't worry about saying goodbye. I'm sure we'll be doing this all again soon enough. Hahaha... get off my bus."

You get off the bus and find yourself on the outskirts of some desert town.
