Pailio

I had just turned 18 when I received the video call from my mom's old flame. We had bought one of the houses on the outskirts of Hauli city, and I was helping my mom unpack when I may have fallen asleep. Unfortunately my mom's meowth was around to wake me up.

"That's right! I want to hurry up and meet some, too! We're living in the Alola region now! The beautiful islands everyone wants to visit! I'm sure the Pokémon living in a place like this must be friendly, right?" She wondered.

Pokemon weren't all that dangerous but they could easily kill a human if they wanted.

"I'll be sure to have everything cleaned up and put away by the time you come back." She said with a smile.

I nodded and trotted out the door, ready to see what new pokemon awaited me in this new region.

I felt the breeze tussle my brown hair as I ducked my 6 foot tall frame under a low flying wingull. I moved up the path toward what I believed to be iki town when a low flying rock went soaring past my head.

"Holy shit!" I yelled.

"Sorry cuz," a tiny voice came from ahead of me and a youngster came out from the grass. "Rockruff and I were using this as our training grounds." From behind him a puppy pokemon came out of the grass. She was an adorable little 4 foot dog with pleasantly jiggling D cup breasts and a rather ample bottom. In other worlds a shortstack.

"It's fine kid," I said with a smile "I was just looking around anyway. "

I turned around and walked back pass my house and began to make my way back past my house and walked up the rather flora heavy route. I exchanged pleasantries with passersby.

I approached the first patch of grass and heard feral hiss. A short mongoose like creature ran out of the grass and growled at me. I slowly backed up as he flashed his teeth. Which is to say I instantly dashed away since his mouth took up half his face and his teeth looked sharper then a sharpedos.

A hoot, meow and bark came from behind me as I fled, and turning around I saw a tawny owl with a green bowtie made of leaves, a red and black cat, and a blue sealion jump out in front of me. After they appeared they quickly began to make noise in an effort to scare the weasel away.

Surprisingly, it worked and the brown mammalian pokemon fled back into the grass.

I heard the steady thump of feet behind and whirled around to see Professor Kukui speeding up the trail.

"Hey there, cousin!" He gasped then his eyes flickered with recognition.
"Hang on, I know you... You're Pailio, right?! You OK? I saw you were having some trouble!
"Yeah, I got a bit of help" I said a bit sheepishly as I gestured to the Pokémon that helped me.

"Looks like you did! Though I sure didn't expect that, yeah... I didn't think these little fellows would dash out on their own to help save a stranger!" He said jovially.
The three stood proudly at his praise, each puffing up in pride.

"But I guess I'm getting ahead of myself. Welcome to Alola, the Pokémon paradise! That's what I'm supposed to be saying. I'm Kukui, yeah. The Pokémon Professor. People and Pokémon live and work together here in Alola, too. Don't you ever forget... You can go anywhere, yeah, as long as you got Pokémon in your corner! Wild Pokémon could be lurking in the tall grass, yeah, just waiting to leap out and bite you, but you'll be fine if you've got a partner of your own! Hey there! Here, let me introduce the Pokémon that helped you just now. This is the Grass-type Pokémon Rowlet, the Fire-type Pokémon Litten and the Water-type Pokémon Popplio

I ran my eyes over the choices. Litten was out, I did not need another cat in my life. That left Rowlett and Popplio. Both were males.
