Secretly, she was married to the Jedi General, Anakin Skywalker. First meeting him over ten years ago as a boy on Tatooine, she had fallen in love with him after he was assigned to protect her before the war started.

Padme constantly crusaded to end the war and end the deaths of many innocent lives. She will go to great lengths to get what she wants.
